Hi,ImOliverandImasenioratBrown,studyingenvironmentalengineering.I
lovetotravelandIlovetobuildthings,bothofwhichhavehelpeddrawmetothis
project.Imalsoveryinterestedinthedevelopmentofinfrastructurebothon
smallandlargescales.Ihavealotofexperiencewithprogramminganddata
science,butalsolikeworkingwithmorehandson,physicalprototyping.Istarted
workingwithBurroonaclassprojectthisspringandendedupinterningwiththem
inGhanaoverthesummer.Now,Imsettingupthisprojectandtwosmallerones
hereatBrownduringmyfinalsemester.Myaimforthisprojectisforustodesign,
testanddocumentaprototypeforasmallgravitypowereddripirrigationsystem
suitableforGhanasowecanbringBurroonestepclosertohavingsuchaproduct.
Ialsohopetohelpmakethisafunandengagingopportunityforallofusinvolvedandtofacilitatea
processwherewecancomeoutfeelingproudoftheresultandourcontributionstoit!

dependsonsomanyengineeringdisciplines:solidmechanics,fluid
dynamics,andenvironmentalscience,justtonameafew.Additionally,Im
excitedbytheprospectofsolvingarealworldproblemand,consequently,
impactingpeopleslivesthroughthisproject.Ilookforwardtoworkingwith
theentireBurroteamandlearningaboutengineeringdesign.
