- Born to the glazier and limner, Gerrit Duychinck, in New York City
- Baptized on 19 June, 1695
- Grandson of Everet The Glazier Duyckinck who emigrated from Holland to New Holland
in 1635
- Advertised himself as a limner, gilder, jappaner, and dealer in looking glasses and artists color
At the Sign of the two Cupids, near the Old Slip Market in 1735
- Recorded as having worked in Schenectady in October of 1738 and Claverack in October
of 1742
- Died in Kingston, New York on 26 July, 1746
- His son, Gerrardus, advertised that he continues to carry on the Business of his late Father,
