ZAGREB
The classy and refined city of Zagreb is much more than Croatia's capital.
Zagreb (Croatian pronunciation: [‘zâ:greb]) is a modern European metropolis, with a beauty and charm. Today the city is a bustling, cultural haven
that both locals and visitors alike have fallen in love with. By its historical tradition, cultural relations, and above all, its urban planning Zagreb is
a distinctly central European city. Situated in the middle of the triangle of Vienna, Budapest and Venice, it always has been and remains a part
of the cultural circle of central Europe. It is only a two-hour drive from the Adriatic Sea.
A city of a million inhabitants that has managed to stay romantic, clean, and which offers visitors pleasant walks and enjoyment in a city full of parks
and pedestrian zones. In short, it is a city that has managed to preserve its soul and identity, its cultural and historical heritage.
Zagreb has proven to be a great host to many international congresses, corporate meetings, cultural and sporting events, and a place where true
professionalism is combined with an honest and open heart. Zagreb has been the foundation from which many excellent scientists and artists have
ventured out into the world; it is also the birth place of some of the world’s most important heritage items like the cravat (necktie) and ball-point pen,
both of which have become traditional symbols associated with the business world.
Here, Close to You!
Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, is a Central
European city that has excellent air, road and
train connections to other European
and non-European cities. For instance,
it is only 390 km away from Vienna, 576 km
from Munich, 380 km from Budapest and
420 km from Venice.
For those who live in some other, more distant
metropolitan cities, it is best to arrive by plane.

Croatia
Croatia lies at the meeting point of the Mediterranean, the Alps
and the Pannonia plains. The characteristics of each have merged into
a unique and charming harmony of opposites. In addition to its
variety and natural beauty, Croatia is also favored by an unspoiled
environment.
Croatia has what is considered as one of the most advanced market
economy in South-Eastern Europe. Its transportation system and
roadways have recently been modernized and it has become a
favorite vacation spot for most Europeans.
Going to Croatia is pretty easy with its network of airports and most
visitors use Zagreb, Pula, Split or Dubrovnik to get to the country. If
you want to go on a driving adventure, the Adriatic highway from
Italy to Albania which passes through the steep slopes of Croatia is
considered to be an exciting one.
Ferry rides are also available if you are travelling among the islands
of the Adriatic Sea. With the immaculate view and the peaceful
waters, this is a great way to relax and enjoy your visit.
Of course, accommodation is bountiful as Croatia is already one of
the favorite tourist spots in Europe since it is the home of seven
World Heritage Sites and eight national parks.
People who have
been to the country say that it is a piece of heaven on earth. With its
pristine beaches and historic villages, Croatia is truly a place to
explore.
