The column is a part of a flat ‘Sat system located in the third floor, the slab thickness=250mm, and the clear length of the column, hy = 5.10 ms in both directions. The column is subjected to an ultimate axial load, Py =2000 kN and the.shown primary ultimate moment, M1 (about X axis) and it is reinforced with 6 gf 25 on each long side of the column section. | 8) Draw the column section (scale 1\20) showing all the | details of stirrups and longitudinal reinforcement. | 4 Reinforced Concrete Final Exam 2° i [5- (15%) I A) The shown beam section is subjected to a Torsion, M;= 50 kN.m and a shear force, Qu. This type of buildings employs contemporary construction technologies along with innovative ideas concerning the building commercial function, free-plan organisation, and environmental management. In their proposals, students will attempt to address considerations such as the users’ convenience, visibility, interior adaptability, and external approach in relation to the built form. Special emphasis should be put on circulation and any aprticular requirements for creating dynamic display spaces and clear overall arrangement. The building is to include the following elements: = Entrance Hall (Trolleys Pick point, Info Stands, Customer Services Counter, Public Toilets ... etc.) * Main Retail Hall subdivided into specialised zones to display : = Food (Canned, Fresh Produce, Refrigerated/Frozen, Deli, Snacks, Sweets, Beverages, Ready Meals ... etc), Bakery/Pastry, Cosmetics, Baby Care, Kitchens/Cookware, Detergents, Home/Linen, Stationery, Gift Shop, Electric Appliances, and Pet Section). = 140 Cashiers ( including 2 Fast Lanes, 1 Wide Lane) = Food Court and Coffee Shop (6 Different Outlets, common dining area for 150 persons) = Management Section (8 Offices and Central Security Room) * Technical Support (Back Entrance, Service Loading Bay, Storage, Processing Rooms, Electricity / UPS, Central Air Conditioning, Workshop, Workers Facilities ... etc.) = Car Parking for 200 Vehicles. Explanatory sketches and drawings could include simple & clear: ™ 2-D drawings (plans, elevations and sections scale 1/200); and "Descriptive 3-D views of the proposed deisgn and its features.
