Dear Sir/Madam.

My name is Desty Prilianingrum. I am writing to apply for the FPCI (Foreign Policy
Community Of Indonesia) International Internship Program 2016 in Germany. Foreign Policy
Community Of Indonesia is a non-profit organization and non-politically engaged in the field
of International Relation, and open to all. I am as a Law student who learn about Law,
regulation, rule and constitution were near with political issue, this organization is like a good
choice to upgrade my opinion. I studied about International Law and I know Indonesia have a
good International relationship (bener nggak? Have a good relationship?). I want be a youth
who know well about my country, and try being someone who find and solve the problem.
I am being part of many activities outside of my college life. Beside Law or Tax Law, I
also concern about environment. I joined some environment related movement, like Earth
Hour. It made me understand how poor the earth is and it needs our help, because the earth is
treasure for our child. I also a member of Student Choir Organization. we won some national
and international awards and held many outstanding concert. On the other hand, I have some
working experience in restaurant and experienced as Lawyer Assistant. Those are two
different job with different responsibility. When working in a restaurant, I need patience to
deal with my customer. Meanwhile, Lawyer Assistant needs brilliant ideas because I need to
discuss many cases with the Lawyer. I was glad to be able to do all those activities with pride,
and people always recognize my capability.
I am truly hard worker. In 2015, I am one of outstanding student in my Faculty
after winning several competitions. I am a human with a big curiosity, I always try something
new and different in my life. Now I am become tutor (or usually call Buddy) for foreign
students from Thailand. I can increase my knowledge about ASEAN because their from
South-East Asian Studies. In another hand, I do my legal research about Tax in Indonesia. Tax
is very valuable thing because tax offer big contribution on states income specially for
Indonesia. Between their two activity I should manage my time well, and does not make any
mistake because both of them is very important experience for me.
Indonesia is very big country with a lot of people, and many culture. Indonesia
Government always tried their best effort to increase social welfare for citizen. Government
made many regulation or rule to manage or protect the citizen. Some people have a hunch
that too many regulation in Indonesia, and make many Indonesian people do not understand
about the rule. The reason I love my study about Law is I can know much more about the rule
and act like I smarter than another about the regulation. I have responsibility to know about
regulation, and I will improve it when I become legislative or Government someday.
My responsibility bring me to the situation where I must develop my knowledge, my
capability and prove that education is never has limit. I want this Internship program because
this is a big challenge and I should try this for me, and my country. Experience is the best
teacher, Indonesia need me and all young generation. In my opinion, youth is future for every
country in this world, and youth must know their contribution is very important.
I build my sociality life in my University and another experience outside, Germany is
new for me. I studied German Language in Senior High School, but I am not expert. My
friend have a big dream to goes to German for her Master Degree, and this year she will get
her opportunity to go there. Her dream about German make me sure that German will give
me a very awesome lesson. I always learn from people around me, and I am sure will get
many educational thing what can increase my knowledge for Indonesia.

Except my concern about Tax Law and about Indonesian Government, I have a dream
to become Chief of Eradication Commission. Now, I follow class in Study Center of Law
what learn about against corruption called PUKAT (Pusat Kajian Anti-Korupsi). I took a part
on social development program for child or teenager to build their responsibility to say NO
to corruption. I want Indonesian youth have their integrity to against every bad influence
from outside theirselve. My goal is to improvement of youth well-being, involvement of
young people into a good social life, finding, and promotion of young leader, especially a
young leader for against corruption.
I am eager to learn and prepared to adapt myself in new circles of life. I am struggling
with my dream. I have loyalty and patience. Keep my dream as my trigger. I will fight for
my education. I hope I can be Sir/Madam potential candidate and I promise will never waste
this valuable opportunity which comes to my life.
People said "The best way to predict the future is to create it". I want be a part for my
Indonesia future, I dream about a good relationship between every country, and bring this
world in peace.
