1. Given the varied laws, rules and regulations, with which a DMO has to work, the
DMO Trainee without assistance will be able to find, identify and define the
corresponding policy, law, rule and regulation of the Peace Corps, the Federal
Government or the host country, applicable to any given administrative
requirement.
2. Once the law, rule and regulation of the Peace Corps, the Federal Government or
the Host Country, applicable to any given administrative requirement has been

found, identified and defined, the DMO Trainee, without assistance, will be able
to classify and describe them correctly.
3. Once the DMO Trainee is able to classify and describe the law, rule and
regulation from the Peace Corps, the Federal Government or the Host Country,
applicable to any given administrative requirement, without assistance, (s)he will
be able to compose a summary synthesizing them correctly in at least 80% of all
cases.
4. The DMO Trainee, without assistance, will be able to actively participate in
decision-making senior staff meetings exercising appropriate leadership, and act
as Country Director if required.

Given the varied financial laws, rules and regulations, with which a DMO has to

management requirement, while at the same time applying agency and regional
guidance.

accommodation exchange, if authorized.

Alternate Cashiers and Sub Cashiers and prepare cashier installations per rules
and regulations 80% of the time in a class simulation.

The DMO Trainee will manage and safe keep US Government Funds, their
establishment, size, monitoring and audit, as well as the safety and security of
cashiering installations and the cash disbursing function, the collection of funds
owed the Government, the Accommodation (currency) Exchange, and the
registration of all operations in the official PC Accounting System 80% of the
time in a class orientation and simulation.

vehicles and medical supplies/in coordination with PC Medical Contractors),

its maintenance and repair (if applicable), replenishment and disposal.

1. Given the fact that Peace Corps Volunteers have a unique non-employment
situation, laws, rules and regulations that govern their service and with which a

DMO has to work, the DMO Trainee without assistance will be able to find,
identify, define and apply the corresponding policy, law, rule and regulation of
the Peace Corps, the Federal Government or the host country, applicable to any
given Peace Corps Volunteer requirement, while at the same time applying
agency and regional guidance on their allowances, payments and reimbursements.

2. The DMO Trainee will demonstrate appropriate administrative and financial
support via the successful application of these policies, laws, rules, regulations
and systems during simulations in OST.
The DMO Trainee will provide all appropriate logistics, administrative and financial
support for their prompt, smooth and efficient application. This in order to facilitate
proper financial support to Volunteers and Trainees at the post, and efficient and timely
support to their safety and security.
