switches for a new iPhone every year. Therefore, we would like to make a

- Does loyal users like to see iPhone launching new iPhone every year?
- Why iPhone users loyal to iPhone?
- Loyal customers or disloyal customers? To whom Apple are selling?

Topic 3
Analyse the success of sequel films made in Hollywood. It helps in
deciding upon how much marketing budget needs to allocated for the
sequel films beforehand.
We study how the box office collection of a movie which is a sequel differs from the
box
office collection of a movie which is regular. If there is a weightage of sequel, we
expect
that, the box office collection of sequel movie will be more than box office collection
of
regular movies, holding all else constant. We believe that movie lovers are asked to
pay a
more for the sequel movie and relating the movie with the past one. Therefore, we
expect that
the average box office collection will be higher than a comparable modern hotel. To
summarize, our hypotheses are as follows.

Following hypothesis may be tested

H1: The average box office collection of a sequel movie are higher than the box
office
collection of a regular movie.
H2a: The box office collection of a movie is increasing in the popularity of the star
cast (actor, actress).
H2b: The box office collection of a movie is increasing in the experience level of the
Producer and Director.
H2c: The box office collection of a movie is increasing in the online movie ratings
provided by consumers
Sequel: We used a dummy variable to indicate whether the movie is a remake of a
same
name movie, or it was a sequel of a movie or it was re-released of a previously
released
movie.
Actor: We used to denote the Rating of male actor at the time of release of
respected movie.
We used dummy variable, where means that, the male actor is not in the top 50 list
And so on other factors like director, movie rating etc.
