Product Line Maintenance Notice

FibeAir 1500R
Dear Valued Customer,
We kindly request your attention to changes in our product portfolio according to this notice.
The following products are to be discontinued on the effective date listed below:
FibeAir 1500R Indoor Unit (Chassis, IDM and IDC)
FibeAir IP-1500R, in all its configuration options, has appropriate replacements offered by Ceragon.
The replacement product for all options is the FibeAir IP-20 platform, which was released to market
during 2012 and since then has gained the confidence of Ceragons customers worldwide (Please
contact Ceragon representative to define the exact FibeAir IP-20 variant which will best suite your
needs).
The FibeAir IP-20 platform significantly extends the feature set of the FibeAir 1500R and increases
performance, hence being a perfect fit for your network.
Last orders
Ceragon will be accepting orders for FibeAir IP-1500R product items until Feb 28th, 2016.
Spares parts, Repair and Support Services
Ceragon will continue to provide spare parts, technical support and repair services for the EOL
products, according to Service Level Agreements and contractual obligations.
Compatibility between FibeAir 1500R and FibeAir IP-20
There is no backwards compatibility of any of the IP-20 products to 1500R Indoor Units. However, the
installed RFUs can be maintained when upgrading the Indoor Units with enhanced performance. See
appendix B for list of supported RFUs.
