1. Tool for identifying the inactive objects.

Purpose: Can be used to find out if there were any objects changed to
inactive after the movement of TRs and after there are patch upgrades in
the system.
2. Tool for Data analysis of number of records and the time taken for data
load completion.
Purpose: This tool would help in faster analysis in identifying the rise in
number of records and the time taken for data load completion. We can
get the output in graph format or bars format. We can do monthly, daily,
total average analysis using this tool.
3. Tool for identifying the dependent objects.
Purpose: Would be helpful when there is a new release movement. Will
help in providing all the dependent objects.
4. Tool for forcefully turning a step green.
Purpose: As per the standard process we need to take many details from
table RSPC_PROCESS_LOG and then put in those details in program
RSPC_PROCESS_FINISH. It is a bit time consuming. Using this tool we will
need to give the Log Id, Instance id, variant only which can be taken from
the messages tab of the step.
5. Tool for automating the reconciliation process.
Purpose: It can be implemented using the scripts provided in SAP. We
need to record the steps for the first time. Next time all the steps would be
followed on its own once we run the recorded script. Can be implemented
for various other manual activities where the steps performed are
repetitive.
6. Alerts for ST22 runtime errors/short dumps.
Purpose: At times there would be many background jobs running in the
system. We donot monitor each and every job. In case there is a runtime
failure in those jobs we would be able to identify the issue proactively as
we would be getting alerts as emails.
7. Tool for de-scheduling process chains.
Purpose: Can de-schedule multiple process chains using this program.
8. Alerts after completion of important PCs.
Purpose: Will send email to a group after completion of critical process
chains.
9. Duplicate Dimension IDs removal program.
Purpose: We can perform this activity using the standard functionality
provided in SAP also but making a dedicated program saves a lot of effort
and time.
10. Tool for checking the performance related KPIs of objects.

Purpose: We can check all the performance driving factors of objects on

single platform using this tool. It can have options to check DB Stats, index
storage quality, Compression status, Fact/Dimension ratio of cubes etc.

11. Tool for performance optimization of objects.

Purpose: We can make a tool having a one stop platform with all the
possible options we can perform for optimizing the performance of objects
like CUBE, DSO. We can have options of DB Stats rebuild, Index Rebuilding,
Duplicate dimension removal, Null elimination, Compression etc.
