Oh my God! Now this release is truly mind-boggling.

14white14 does it with such

ease but I can truly understand the mountains of effort he must put behind relea
sing these apps, because believe it or not, 14white14's medical releases are fir
st anywhere on the internet in the entire world!
For those of you thinking how different is this app from the 1.1 version release
d 8 or so months ago, let me tell you one major but a subtle difference in this
1.2 version that I have noticed. The search functionality has gotten so much bet
ter in this one, for instance, when you typed a word to find all its possible lo
cations in the 1.1 version, usually a few references were skipped, tabular locat
ions were ignored, videos weren't mostly involved, and a few images were skipped
. I actually tested that side-by-side to a physical textbook. With this 1.2 vers
ion, all those issues are fixed. The entire length and breadth of the textbook i
s rigorously squeezed out. Some other interface changes in this 1.2 version make
the processing smoother, bookmarking retainable, videos loading faster and unin
terrupted and other changes that bugged the previous app version that were repor
ted to the developer by those who used the app extensively and that other occasi
onal users found out very late. I don't know why Mr.Erickson the software develo
per overseeing it all, who is not a doctor, doesn't include the changelogs or a
"What's New" section.
For those having problems with images etc., trust me there's absolutely no probl
em at all with this app or the others I've tried released by 14white14 recently
which I'll list in a minute. Please read the common installation instructions on
mobilism for the .obb and .apk files which work in combination, not alone. And
I have the simplest, non-rooted, unmodified, untouched phone of all. If it can w
ork for me, it can work for everybody unless they've done the installation wrong
or something's wrong with their phone or OS version below the one mentioned etc
. Here are the apps I've tried recently, all of which work:
1. CURRENT (CMDT) Study Guide, 2E v1.0 (http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?
f=1288&t=1773292)
2. The Color Atlas of Pediatrics v1.1 (http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f
=1288&t=1773289)
3. The Atlas of Internal Medicine v1.4 (http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?
f=1288&t=1773294)
4. USMLE Qbanks - Combo 1-2-3 v4.0 (http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=12
88&t=1773283)
5. Atlas of Family Medicine 2/E v2.0 (http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=
1288&t=1773281)
6. Zollinger's Atlas of Surgery v1.2 (http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=
1288&t=1770865)
7. First Aid for USMLE Step 3 4/E v1.0 (http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?
f=1288&p=3773768#p3773768)
8. Harrison's Manual Medicine 19E v1.0 (http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?
f=1288&t=1696472&p=3916515#p3916515)
9. Dermatologic Procedures v1.1 (http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=1288&
t=1614497) - This one's just awesome with almost 70 videos embedded offline and
the other 70-80 available online that run super-smoothly!
And I'm sure all the other medical releases by 14white14 work just as fine too t
hat I haven't tried yet because it has the same installation algorithm as the on
es I've mentioned.
