Passion:Oneoftheprimeaspecttheyexpectispassiontolearn.Showthe
interviewerthatyoupassionatetolearnnewstuff,notnecessarilytechnical.I
toldtheinterviewerthatI'minterestedinlearningmanythingsstartingfrom
musicalinstrumentstoparticlephysics.Showtheabovepassioninthe

FirstyouneedtounderstandthatMSisaninboxsoftwarecompany,i.estill

whichareinstalledonadevice(unlikewebserviceslikeGoogle,fB),soifthere
isabuginaproduct,thecostoffixingitisenormous,youneedtoshipapatch
toabillioninstallationsetc.Sounlikeothercompaniesitisveryveryvery
importantforMStomakesuretherearezero(almost)bugsincode.Thisis
prettyvisibleintheexpectationsMShaswithitsemployeesandwiththe
intervieweeaswell.
SoforMS,evenifyoudonothaveanoptimalsolution(nothingbetterthanto
haveone),havingcodewithnobugsisevenmoreimportant.Makesureyou
havecheckedforallcornedcases,madenullchecks(prettyobviousbutone
wouldbesurprisedtoseehowmanypeopleforgetthis),checksforalltheinput
