Oral communication is used both informally and formally. f. Speak in complete sentences when appropriate to task
and situation in order to provide requested detail or
clarification. (CCSS: SL.3.6)
C) Activity: After having a quick mini-lesson on how to appropriately use the app I would give student a list of
conversation topics/starters and have them pretend to be at a party. Students would mingle throughout the room
asking questions and having conversations using the app and practicing using the conversation elements. The goal
would be for students to get used to using the app to communicate ( receptive and expressive communication)
