1. Meeting the needs of students in the area of their interest and to make them good
engineers .

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Graduates shall
PEO1: Have profound knowledge in various domains of mechanical engineering for
successful career in Industry or pursue higher studies or research.
PEO2: Become effective collaborators / innovators, addressing the social, technical and
engineering challenges.
PEO3: Acquire lifelong learning skills, professional ethics, good communication capabilities
and leadership qualities for successful career.

1. Ability to design, manufacture, and operate components, devices, or
systems : (pick any one from below)
a. Heat exchangers, refrigerators, ventilation systems
b. Manufacturing technologies that include use of lasers, precision machinery,
and nano-technology
c. Biomedical devices
d. Automobiles, airplanes, and other vehicles
e. Robotics, mechatronics, and electronic control of machinery
f. Predictive maintenance and reliability technologies
g. Modeling of machinery and systems using virtual reality

2. Ability to provide solutions to problems that improve quality of life.

3. Ability to draft, design, and Analyse XXXXXX using tools (AutoCAD,
CATIA, ANSYS).
4. Pursue higher studies or get placed in Automobile, Thermal, Production,
CAD/CAE based companies or can become entrepreneur.
