INTRODUCTION
Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company, headquartered in Cupertino,
California,, that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and
online services. Its hardware products include the iPhone smartphone, the iPad tablet
computer, the Mac personal computer, the iPod portable media player, the Apple

Watch smartwatch, and the Apple TV digital media player. Apple's consumer software
includes the macOS and iOS operating systems, the iTunes, media player, the Safari web
browser, and the iLife and iWork creativity and productivity suites. Its online services include
the iTunes Store, the iOS App Store and Mac App Store, Apple Music, and iCloud.
Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne in April 1976 to
develop and sell personal computers. It was incorporated as Apple Computer, Inc. in
January 1977, and was renamed as Apple Inc. in January 2007 to reflect its shifted focus
toward consumer electronics. Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) joined the Dow Jones, Industrial
Average in March 2015.
Apple is the Worlds largest information company by revenue, the world's largest technology
company by total assets.and the world's second-largest mobile phone manufacturer. In
November 2014, in addition to being the largest publicly traded corporation in the world by
market capitalization. Apple became the first U.S. company to be valued at over US$700
billion. The company employs 115,000 permanent full-time employees as of July 2015 and
maintains 478 retail stores in seventeen countries as of March 2016. It operates the online
Apple Store and iTunes Store, the latter of which is the world's largest music retailer. There
are over one billion actively used Apple products worldwide as of March 2016.
Apple's worldwide annual revenue totaled $233 billion for the fiscal year ending in
September 2015. This revenue generation accounts for approximately 1.25% of the
total United States GDP. The company enjoys a high level of brand loyalty and, according
to Interbrands annual Best Global Brands report, has been the world's most valuable brand
for 4 years in a row, with a valuation in 2016 of $178.1 billion. The corporation receives
significant criticism regarding the labor practices of its contractors and its environmental and
business practices, including the origins of source materials.
In August 2016, after a three-year investigation by the EU's competition commissioner that
concluded that Apple received "illegal state aid" from Ireland,, the EU ordered Apple to pay
13 billion euros ($14.5 billion), plus interest, in unpaid taxes.

HISTORY
On January 9, 2007 the late Steve Jobs put sneaker to Macworld stage to give one of the most
incredible keynote presentations of his life - a life filled with incredible keynotes - and in the
history of consumer electronics. There, he said he would be introducing a widescreen iPod with touch controls, a revolutionary mobile phone, and a breakthrough internet

device. But it wasn't three products. It was one product. We got it. It was the iPhone.

History of iPhone3G: Twice as fast, half the price

Just one year after launching the iPhone, we're launching the new iPhone 3G that is twice as fastest
half the price. iPhone 3G supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync right out of the box, runs the
incredible third party apps created with the iPhone SDK, and will be available in more than 70
countries around the world this year.
The iPhone 3G, codenamed N82 and device number iPhone1,2, had the same 3.5-inch screen
at 320x480 and 163ppi as the original. The cellular radio, however, received a significant
update to support 3G UMTS/HSPA networks. That allowed for a much faster theoretical
download speed of 3.6 mbps. Jobs claimed it was 36% faster than the other leading 3G
phones of the time, including the Nokia N95 and Palm Treo 750, while also rendering a better
version of the web.
Instead of the original aluminium casing with plastic buttons, Apple went with a
polycarbonate casing with metal buttons. That let them improve RF transparency, which
made for better reception, and also to offer some variety. While the front plate remained
uniformly black the 16GB had a backplate offered in both black and white.
But there was one more giant differentthe price.
Jobs said that, according to Apple's research, 56% of potential iPhone customers didn't buy
because of the price. Yet the value of the iPhone and it's ability to drive adoption of premium
services had been proven to carriers. So, Apple was able to convince the carriers to front a
significant portion of the price.

History of iPhone3GS: Faster and more powerful

The iPhone 3GS, codenamed N88 and device number iPhone 2,1, was the third iPhone but
the second "generation". That might sound strange, but the device numbering is based on the
processor, not the year. Cosmetically, the iPhone 3GS sported an almost identical design to
the previous year's iPhone 3G. Only the word "iPhone" on the back changedit became
shinier.
The 3.5-inch screen was the same 320x480 and 163ppi as the last two iPhones, but Apple
added an oleophobic coating to help it better resist finger prints and other oils. The cellular
radio was updated again, this time to a twice-as-fast UMTS/HPSA 7.2 mbps. Wi-Fi stayed the
same at 802.11 b/g, as did a GPS, but Bluetooth got a bump to 2.1+ EDR.
Apple also added a magnometer (digital compass), which brought directional and rotation
data to the mix. Combined with the existing accelerometer, it was a huge boom for precision
and accuracy, especially for gaming.
History of iphone4: Changing Everything- Again

The iPhone 4, codenamed N90/N92 and device number iPhone3,1, for the first time, offered
significant improvements to the display. Apple went with optical lamination and an in-plane
switching (ISP) panel with light-emitting diode (LED) backlight. It made images look as if
they were painted just beneath the glass, and greatly improved viewing angles. Moreover,
instead of matching competing display sizes of the time, it leap-frogged over them. To boost
pixel count yet maintain compatibility with existing apps, Apple doubled resolution both
horizontally and vertically, but kept the physical size constant at 3.5-inches. That took it from
a resolution of 480x320 to 960x640, and from a density of 163ppi to 326ppi. It was dense
enough, Apple argued, that at normal viewing distance the pixels disappeared. They called it
a Retina display.
The Wi-Fi radio went to 802.11 g/b/n, though only on the 2.4Mhz band. The kicker wasn't the
radios, however, it was thisthe stainless steel band around the iPhone was the antenna. The
top left contained Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and aGPS, and the rest contained UMTS/HSPA. Steve
Jobs said it had never been done before.
Storage options stayed the same at 16GB and 32GB but RAM was increased to 512MB. Like
every first generation Retina device, however, it was barely enough to support all those
additional pixels. The battery jumped to 1420mAh, which meant that, even with Retina,
Apple actually managed to increase useful battery life as well.
Dual mics were also added for noise cancelation and better noise quality. In addition to the
previous accelerometer and compass, Apple added a 3-axis gyroscope to the iPhone 4, with
pitch, roll, and yaw, as well as rotation around gravity. Working together they provided 6-axis
motion detection. It was a huge leap forward when it came to precision control, especially for
gaming.

For the first time, Apple also added a front camera, VGA resolution. While it was a boon to
the profile pics and "selfies" that were growing in popularity, it also allowed Apple to
launch FaceTime video calling.
History of iPhone 4S: The most amazing iPhone yet

The iPhone 4S, codename N94 and device number iPhone4,1, like the iPhone 3GS before it,
kept the same basic design as previous year's model. It was the beginning of a tick-tock
pattern that lasts to this day. For the iPhone 4S, it meant the same 960x480 326ppi Retina
display and IPS LED panel.
The iPhone 4S processor got a significant boost as well a version of the Apple A5 systemon-a-chip (SoC) that debuted with the iPad 2 earlier in the year. The A5 featured a dual-core
Cortex A9 central processing unit with Imagination's dual-core PowerVR SGX 543MP2
graphics processing unit. Apple claimed a 2x general speed improvement and a 7x graphics
improvement.
The new power enabled features like AirPlay mirroring, which let the iPhone project its
interface to the Apple TV, and Siri, which replaced the previous Voice Control feature with a
full-on virtual digital assistant feature powered by natural language, and a Pixar-like
personality.

History of iPhone 5: The biggest thing to happen to iPhone

iPhone 5 is the most beautiful consumer device that we've ever created. We've packed an amazing
amount of innovation and advanced technology into a thin and light, jewel-like device with a
stunning 4-inch Retina display, blazing fast A6 chip, ultrafast wireless, even longer battery life; and
we think customers are going to love it.
Although the screen got bigger, paradoxically the iPhone 5 itself got smaller. 12% smaller by
volume than its predecessor. That meant it was so light people picking it for the first time
could mistake it for a hollow shell. It required a manufacturing process with precision and at
scale never seen before.
History of iPhone 5C: The Most Colourful iPhone yet

iPhone 5c, codenamed N48 and model number iPhone5,3, marked the first time Apple didn't
simple drop the previous year's flagship down to mid-tier pricing. Instead, they repackaged it
as something new. It had the same 1136x640, 16:9 in-cell display, but it replaced the
aluminum casing with polycarbonate. Set against the traditional black/slate and white/silver
of the premium line, the iPhone 5c popped in plastic tinted bright green, blue, yellow, pink,
and white.
History of iPhone 5S: The most forward thinking iPhone ever

The iPhone 5s, codenamed N51 and model number iPhone6,1, kept the same design as the
previous year's iPhone 5, something that had become a hallmark of Apple's S-class phones.
(The shift from uppercase S to lowercase s in the branding was likely a visual concession
5S has a great chance of being confused for 55 than 5s does.) That meant the iPhone 5s kept
the same 4-inch, 1136x640 pixel, 326ppi, 16:9 aspect ratio display, and the same in-cell
technology that made the pixels look like they were fused right into the screen.

History of ihone 6
We're back up to date with the iPhone 6 Apple launched last year and the one still
currently on sale as the flagship. As well as another design revamp, the iPhone 6
extended the display size to 4.7 inches and added in more pixels to boot. Also worth
noting is the introduction of NFC for Apple Pay and other services, plus a significant

upgrade for the camera, giving better p

photo and video results than ever before.

History of iphone 6Plus

For a long time Apple resisted the temptation to follow the industry trend for bigger and
bigger smartphone screens, but it finally bowed to the pressure with the iPhone 6 and
particularly the iPhone 6 Plus. With a display of 5.5 inches from corner to corner, it's the
biggest iPhone ever and gets close to iPad mini territory. The handset has certainly come a
long way since 2007.

History of iphone 6S
Apples iPhone 6S didn't come as much of a surprise to many. Every odd-numbered year has
yielded an S variant of the previous years phone, offering a few upgrades to the handset but
largely keeping the same design and chassis.
The iPhone 6S is almost identical to 2014s iPhone 6, to the point that we could barely tell the
difference between the two in the hand, with a little extra thickness and weight to give you
the clue that youre holding a next-gem phone in your hand. But while the outside is
identical, the stuff that Cooks Crew crammed inside is a change - hence Apples decision to
give this phone the tagline: The Only Thing Thats Changed Is Everything.
With Force Touch there was a new way of touching the phone, plus an improved chassis and
a pseudo-magical way at viewing your photos (Live Photos),
