USE OF WATER PROOFING TREATMENT IN MAP WORKS
1.
For wider availability of water proofing compounds, water proofing membranes,
concrete additives, wood adhesives, Epoxy Grouts (Tile Joints) and Wall Putty, after
techno evaluations by Product Approval Committee of DG MAP, water proofing
compounds, water proofing membranes, concrete additives, wood adhesives, Epoxy
Grouts (Tile Joints) and Wall Putty of the following firms have been approved for
incorporation in MAP works:(a)

Water Proofing Membrane

membrane (Brand - Moply-FP).
(ii)

TPO (Carlisle Sureweld) water proofing membrane.

membrane (Brand Laticrete).
(vi) M/s Delhi Builders Stores EPDM water proofing membrane
(Brand - Firestone Rubber Gard), APP water proofing SBS self adhesive

Further technical details, samples of product may be obtained in due course from
the manufactures as given in the Appendix. Consequent to evaluation and performance
of approved firms, approval of additional firms manufacturing above/ identical products
shall be communicated.
3.
Executing Agencies/Consultants / Project Manager and Technical Advisor would
ensure that quality / genuine products are incorporated assuring qualitative standards.
Records of the same shall be maintained. Performance feedback shall be submitted by
Project Managers/Technical Advisors during execution and defect liability period.
Defects / discrepancy, difficulties noticed shall also be promptly reported to HQ DG
MAP for considering continuation of the products / firms approved.
