BUSINESS IMPACT STUDY REFLECTIVE STATEMENT

Name:

Job Title:

1.

Complete the following form and include it as part of your Business Impact
submission outlining the learning and development against the criteria
outlined in this form.

2.

The documentation will enable you to explore and express your reflections
on how you have managed the project and evidenced your progress and
development within this process.

Building on your strategic experience, this submission allows you the opportunity
to present your case and the demonstrable impact that you have made in your
organisation, and to establish your commitment to Continuing Professional
Development. The claim should be based upon work that you were personally
responsible for and which resulted in demonstrable impact in the organisation
(your own and / or a client organisation).
Successful completion of significant projects, where the organisation clearly
gained, is good material for business impact. For example:

Successfully implementing positive, beneficial changes to organisational,

divisional or departmental structure, policies, systems or processes

Creating something significant that did not exist previously; product, service
or market development

Turning a department or business activity around

Achieving targets or objectives well above what was thought possible or

expected

Making significant savings or performance improvement via a new way of

doing things

Increasing profit or market share

You will need to show that the Impact has been achieved as a direct result of
your application of the Chartered Manager skills areas of Leading People and

you have developed as a consequence or action of the project you have
undertaken. This detailed reflection will occur later in this submission.
