PD Board Function
Dual-Input HDMI (compatible with the HDMI Specification)
Digital video Interface supports:
- 24bit RGB/ YCbCr 4:4:4
- 16/ 20/ 24bit YCbCr 4:2:2
Digital video format supports:
*1: Clock is double for each line
- 720(1440*1) x 480i 59.94/ 60Hz
to meet minimum speed
- 720 x 480p 59.94/ 60Hz
requirements of the interface
- 1280 x 720p 59.94/ 60Hz
*2: Q006 supports this VGA format.
- 1920 x 1080i 59.94/ 60Hz
But especially it is not described
( - 640 x 480p 59.94/ 60Hz ) *2
in the users manual.
Q006 does not support 50Hz.
Digital audio format supports:
- L-PCM 2-channel 32/ 44.1 /48kHz, 16/ 20 /24bit
Digital video output (also Analog video output for signal detection)
- 16bit YCbCr 4:2:2 (at HDMI mode)
- 24bit RGB 4:4:4 (at DVI mode)
*3: We can not re-write the keys.
Pre-Programmed HDCP keys *3
(IC9507 HDMI Receiver SiI9021CTU-7)

Possible Trouble
No power
- CN9504(Power supply, I2C, etc.) connection or cable damage.
No picture and No sound
- PS9500 might be open.
- IC9507 / CN9500 / CN9501 (TMDS area) might be broken.
--> Replace PD Board.
- IC9504 / IC9518 (EDID Data) might be broken or not operate correctly.
No picture (or Greenish picture / Pinkish picture). But sound is OK.
- CN9502 connection or cable damage.

Possible Claim about connectivity

Aspect Ratio (at 480i or 480p)
If mistaken data is sent by Source device,
Q006 will mistake judgment of Aspect Ratio.
Greenish picture / Pinkish picture
If mistaken data is sent by Source device,
Q006 will mistake judgment of YCbCr/RGB.
In this case, picture seems Greenish or Pinkish.
No sound
If Dolby Digital or DTS Digital audio is mistakenly sent
by Source device, Q006 can not output sound.
Q006 supports only L-PCM.

--> Those case are not [PD] board broken.

Those claims are the cause of combination
between Q006 and Source Device (DVD player, STB etc.).

(Once the power is on, reading of the data occurs simultaneously
when the S-master Mute occurs.)

3-9. Mute, Reset, Error Detection Summary

MUTE Port on S-MasterProcessor
MUTE OFFH MUTE ONL
It will Mute the IC (IC2604 & IC2607) itself.
Conditions for Muting
Through the A_MUTE line from DE microcontroller.
When the SPDIF error occurs or when there is no signal to the IC.
When the RESET IC (4.2V) is outputting L.
RESET PortsM_RSTCH_RSTAMP_RST
Reset OFFH Reset ONL (for all RESET Port)
Summary for each Port
M_RST
Reset port for the LC89056IC2600) and CXD9788RIC2604IC2607)
Certain amount of delay is made through IC2609
CH_RST
Reset port for the CXD9835TNIC2603 and NV32k
AMP_RST
Reset port for the CXD9774RIC2605IC2606IC2608
Reset will also occur when the RESET IC4.2V is outputting L or when
there is no signal or SPDIF error.

SP_PROT Port error detection

Error not detectedH Error detected
Conditions for detecting the error)
When the DC output is detected at Speaker output ( for L/ R/ W /
When the S-Master Amp.CXD9774RIC2605IC2606IC2608 detects OHP, OCP.
The IC itself is equipped with Over Heat Protection and Over Current Protection.

3-9. K Trouble Shooting -1

Symptom 1 : No or irregular sounds from the L/R channel (but not from the Woofer Channel).
To doCheck the input signals to and output signals from the IC2604.
Your resultsThere are IIS input signals to the IC, but no PWM or irregular output signals
from the IC.
CauseThe IC2604 itself might have been sub-standard, or broken.

Symptom 2No or irregular sounds from the Woofer channel (but not from the L/R channel)
To doCheck the input signals to and output signals from the IC2607.
(Your resultsThere are IIS input signals to the IC, but no PWM or irregular output signals from
the IC.
Cause The IC2607 itself might have been sub-standard, or broken.

Symptom 3No sounds from either Lch, Rch, or Wch (Only one of three).
To doCheck the IC2605LchC2606Rch and IC2608Wch.
Your results There are IIS input signals to one of the each, but no PWM or irregular output
signals from one of the each.
Cause One of the IC2605LchC2606Rch or IC2608Wch) might have been sub-standard,
or broken

3-9. K Trouble Shooting -2

Symptom 4No sounds from L, R, and Wch at all
To do) Check the AMP_RST port of the IC2605LchC2606Rch and IC2608Wch.
Your results) The AMP_RST port is utputting L.
(Cause) Microcontroller port (AMP_RST) error or IC2602 and/or IC2614 might have been
sub-standard or broken
To do Check the M_RST port of the LC89056IC2600 and CXD9788RIC2604IC2607
Your results The M_RST port is outputting L
(Cause) Microcontroller port (M_RST) error or IC2609 might have been sub-standard or
broken
To do) Check the input and output voltage of the IC6103<3.3V> and IC6101<12V>
Your results There are voltages supplied to the IC6103<3.3V> or IC6101<12V> but no
output voltage from either/both ICs
(Cause Regulators (IC6103<3.3V> or IC6101<12V>might have been sub-standard or
broken.
To do Check the input signals to or output signals from the CXD9835TNIC2603
Your results There are input IIS signals to the IC, but no output signals from the IC
(Cause) IC2603 might have been sub-standard or broken
To do Check the input signals to or output signals from the LC89056IC2600
Your results There are input SPDIF signals to the IC, but no output signals from the IC
(Cause IC2600 might have been sub-standard or broken.

3-9. K Trouble Shooting -3

Symptom Different sounds or irregular sound from L,R, or W
Check Check the input signals to or output signals from the CXD9835TNIC2603
Result There are input IIS signals present, but no or irregular output signals from the IC
