7 Javier and Sandra investigated how exhaled


air changed before and after exercise. Sandra
produced a sample of exhaled air by blowing into
the tube shown in the diagram. Then she ran very
fast on a treadmill for one minute, got off and
then immediately blew into the tube again. Then
she rested for 10 minutes. After this she then ran
very fast on the treadmill for two minutes, before
