iNav-Boss Operation
Pairing Instructions
Step 1 Make sure your iPod/iTouch/iPhone is sufficiently charged.
Step 2 Detach iNav receiver from your iPod/iTouch/iPhone and wait 5 seconds.
Step 3 Reattach the iNAV receiver to the iPod/iTouch/iPhone dock connector.
Step 4 Within 30 seconds of Step 3, press and hold all four buttons simultaneously on the new remote for
three seconds (Volume Up, Volume Down -, FF, RW) and release after 5 seconds.
Step 5 Wait approximately 5 seconds. The new remote has been paired with the iNav dock.
NAVigation Mode
In Navigation Mode To enter the NAVigation mode press the center button with the rectangle symbol. Now
use the Volume up for moving up on an iPod menu, the volume down for moving down on an iPod menu. Use
the pause to selecting an iPod menu item. Use the Rewind song to go back in the menu. The mode switch
must be in the left position for NAVigation. The mode switch is the right position for Shuffle On/Off. Once
the purpose of the switch is set and the case close it will be only usable for the purpose.
Forward/Fast Forward:
Red LED on when transmitting
Forward/Fast Forward:
Press and release this button to
move track FORWARD. Press
and HOLD this button to
forward through the track.
Volume Up:
Press and HOLD this button to
turn down volume.
Play/Pause/Sleep:
Press and release to toggle
between Pause and Play. Press
and HOLD for 2 full seconds
to put the iPod into sleep mode

Message Handling
If either of these two
message come up on the
iPod/iToucd/iPhone
display answer No. Then
the MP3 unit will now
response to remote
commands
If no audio on headset
1.) Power on the iTouch or iPhone.
2.) Plug the iNav dock into the iTouch or iPhone and wait 4 seconds.
3.) Then plug in the head set connection into the 3.5mm jack. Audio has now be rerouted.
