Recon of Arthas Moloch

The Tau are a new force in the galaxy, optimistic and bright. Yet even
they have their dark secrets. When the warrior hero Farsight
conquered the worlds of the Damocles Gulf, he
learned forbidden truths that would divide the Tau Empire forever.
The Tau Empire is bound fast by an unwavering belief in the Greater Good; the
concept that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. It is a
system rigidly
enforced by the mysterious Ethereal Caste, governor-priests so influential that
they
could order their people to commit suicide and be obeyed on the spot. There
has only
ever been one Tau who has challenged their rule and lived to tell of it. That
individual is
OShovah, the infamous Commander Farsight, and despite the best efforts of
the
Ethereals to erase him from history, his exploits are legend.
It is here that we learn of Commander Shas'o Firestorm, once a student of the
infamous Commander Farsight, she was devastated when the news came back
to Mont'yr of Farsights betrayal, Firestorm was quick to defend her teacher, he
has always taught me to do what I can for the greater good he would never
willingly go against the ethereals but her claims fell on deaf ears, for the
ethereals had proclaimed his failings to the greater good for all of the Tau
empire, and so they must be.
Years have gone by now, Firestorm was promoted to commander ever reaching
new hights for the good of the Tau empire, whilst all along seeking the truth
behind the desertion of her old teacher, finally a breakthrough came in the
form of an encrypted
data-com. Farsight had abandonded his mission to settle the worlds of the
Damocles Gulf to attack a massive incursion of Orks, beginning with the Vorac
asteroid belt Farsight had been baited into following an Ork warboss and his
crew to a deserted planet called Arthas Moloch. This was the last of the datacom and the first step in Firestorms crusade to clear Farsights name.
