Ofc. Hargadon responded to Sunoco after the employee

requested assistance contacting the owner of the abandoned
M/V in their parking lot. Ofc. Hargadon located a note on
the vehicle with a phone number.
Narrative:
Message left for the owner on the number given. Upon further
inspection of the picture obtained by Ofc. Hargadon, it was
discovered the vehicle is a Lincoln, not a Jaguar. Ofc.
Fitzgerald resp and confirms the VIN and the vehicle is not
stolen or registered.
Narrative:
The owner called back and reports she was coming with AAA to
get the vehicle towed. She claims to have hit a tree but did
not say where. She was advised of the plate status and
reports she has recently purchased the car and has the bill
of sale. Sunoco advised and will call if the vehicle is not
removed in a timely fashion and they require further
information about private tows.
