The Wolfes Den

Hello once again, to all our faithful readers and those
of you visiting our special piece of paradise for the
Holidays. We WELCOME you all.
As most of you may know Thanksgiving is coming
next week. We wish you and yours a Happy and safe Holiday. Do NOT Drink & Drive!
If you are a Football fan like me, you will agree the last 2 weeks of College Football has
been exciting. Many close, very close games. Only a few more weeks and the College
Championship Playoffs will begin. Lots of excitement is coming.
I was raised up North and have always preferred to watch the Pros. But lately, the ways
that the Rules have changed so much it becomes confusing. There seems to be so many
injuries anymore, I dont understand with all the technology and they were so much equipment than I remembered those tough Heroes youth. Anyone over 40 can remember the
rough, tough players who played on with a bad ankle or even a broken collar bone.
The Football Hall of Fame is in Canton, Ohio. As a kid, I went there a few times. I have
so many wonderful, great memories of Football, fantastic catches to spectacular moments
you will never forget. How many of you all out there feel like that? You have a sport or a
Historic personal hero you had as a kid?
It is amazing to me now that I am much older now and those memories are more clear
than life yesterday does. Doesnt everyone growing up, living it for today, have an
inspirational person or desire to go places or do things, accomplish goals?
It is disgraceful they way those thugs destroying the city in all because they dont agree
or feel good about Mr. Trump? Really, are you serious? Can you imagine if we were as
hateful and racial as they act as if we are? It is so widely used as an excuse for
unacceptable actions of destruction. Now, to such a degree, that they now feel and say we
owe them for something that once was a common way of life?
I know to some folks they dont care as long as it doesnt affect them physically. It is
obvious in the way act and discuss serious topics from around the World. Dont you feel it
to be a sense of disgrace for people who truly could care less about anything. Some of us
are interested in keeping up with the News from all around the World. Good and bad. The
horrible things being done in those countries who tried to Welcome those immigrants.
There are several countries that are making it Law to Ban Muslim Immigrants for they are
very evil and destructive. Leaders that allowed thousands of them are now gathering them
up aboard ships and sending them back to where they came from.
They have so much Regret for the hundreds of victims of rape, theft and more disgusting
destructive actions no matter where it is that you are from.
It truly bothers me to see the U.S. being used as a joke to even allow Militia activities to
take place training to Kill Americans in an attempt to please Allah? With the intent to
have us be removed from the face of this earth, take our Land, rape our women? Not here.
Not Ever.
There is so much chaos going on around this world it is unreal. The savagery involved,
the children being abused at all levels. The uncertainty of safety lingers above us all. Do
you realize how many people could not give a dam to what happens now and in the near
future? So many of our young Adults in College, now crying like 3 year olds over Mr.
TRUMP becoming President? When do you say enough is enough, grow the hell up. Quit
the phony stigmas you come up with or reasons to Protest crap that will do nothing to
benefit or change for you. WHY?
You riot and destroy property and hurt other people because of what? Oh, Im sure I
dont understand (Im White) how do you compare a Black Drug dealer SHOT and killed
by a Cop makes it OK for people to shoot down any Cop in the name of whom? what? Oh
yes, I do NOT understand that. I know as a child that you do what the Police say to do for
your safety. As long as you Live you can fight in court against the injustices you feel.
You seem to Riot and protest in the name of the guilty people of criminal activity, that
some how came to other people deciding NOT to listen to a Cop yelling at you show me
your hands? Guns drawn? All because you do NOT respect the authority of officers who
are trained to uphold the Law? Just listen.
When you do your job, do you ever have a threat of being killed everyday because of the
uniform you have for your Job? Of course not! Only Police, Para-medics and Fireman
seem to be the enemy to these Thugs who have No respect for nothing or no one. Except
when they cry for help, who comes running to HELP? The Cops. Seems like it is Not until
(if they Live) they end up in Prison, they get beat down and learn respect in Prison, the
hard way from a THUG Gangster, but not when you are FREE? Makes no sense.
Congratulations President Donald J. Trump. You earned every step you took to get
involved in the Political Mafia was against you and people like myself who admire the
way you say it like it is. You do what needs to be done to accomplish a better way. The
way you held your own against the Machine that consumed weaker opponents before.
Your slogan to Make America Great again is perfect. Mr. President, if you happen to
read this. We are willing to help us achieve to where we need to be again. Spiritually,
mentally (and if necessary) physically. We Pray for you to be strong and wise. If you
Need Help in anyway. Call me, I got tons of friends who feel the same way, to help you!

DONALD J. TRUMP COVINCINGLY WINS U.S.

PRESIDENCY
By Frank Wolfe

The polls were way off as the typical News stations painted a picture of a Hillary
dominance over Trump. How many news reporters have now been fired for discovering that
they were under the table dealing with Clintons purse. As normal that has seemed to
dominate the rigged system of elections is because you never discover the Fraudulent Lies,
until you find evidence that the convicted has no response. GUILTY as SIN.
Having a non-politician is not a New Thing. People and College Students crying and
now stunned, depressed because of the overwhelming solid Victory by TRUMP and his
Campaign leaders. Just for the record. Did you forget that, Herbert Hoover, who made
millions of dollars in mining before becoming president in 1929, and John F. Kennedy, who
came from a wealthy family and became president in 1961, both donated their
presidential salaries to charity.
The US Code says on its website: 'The President shall receive in full for his services
during the term for which he shall have been elected compensation in the aggregate amount
of $400,000 a year, to be paid monthly, and in addition an expense allowance of $50,000 to
assist in defraying expenses relating to or resulting from the discharge of his official duties.'
Trump said in a Twitter Q & A session last September: 'As far as the salary is concerned
I won't take even one dollar. I am totally giving up my salary if I become president'.
Well now that is TRUE and Now Newly Elected Donald J. Trump is currently busy on piecing together his New Administration. As you can tell from his choice pick as Vice President
shocked many but it showed that President Donald J. Trump is smart and recognizes good
honest, quality people around him. Many folks across the USA underestimated his wise
from dealings with people, from all around the World. He is a very self aware type of
person. Who doesnt evaluate even friends to see and feels he needs to be close to him.
Think back, from the 1st Debate, how many fellow republicans who supported President
Elect Donald Trump. Some of the OLD Timers thought that he was too cocky and
inexperienced enough for the position, they denied he was for the Republican side.
As the Debates came closer the more you began to notice very intelligent contenders such
as Dr. Ben Carson. Supporting Trump, all but Ted Cruz? Look at him now, pathetic.
President TRUMP is not just a businessman. He is not just a TV Character. He has a long
outstanding career in selling Land, buying, designing making deals and building
magnificent beautiful and famous architects all around the World. His name has a great
reputation in the work field that he was involved in. Which included everyone from the top
CEO,s, to the worker running a jack hammer all day. And all those people in between who
are there to make things better. All his Life it appears he has always pushed for the Best out
of those top-quality skilled workers to accentuate the unique and marvelous architecture
known. Some of Trump projects are even considered Land marks in most other countries.
As a businessman like most of us. We have learned over time who is honest, loyal and
worthy to be near you. The old Tale is never have business within a Family, Mr. Trump
has obviously proved that to be false and has children (now Young Adults), who are in the
Tops of their fields of interest. As you do this as you live, unfortunately, you meet more
people who are out to try and steal on the side, make promises that they know they cannot
ful-fill. So, when TRUMP did try some new people, how do you know how they work
until after you hire them, right? So, when you see the final product and it was not up to the
expected level of quality care TRUMP expected and they performed. Just as we do almost
everyday, (in our low-income businesses), those are now tax considered a loss for the time,
money, etc, Paid out.
Only now to hire someone New to tear out and replace the work to the level expected for a
TRUMP name to be on it. That is what (the tax department allows you to write off) bad
dealings of shotty workmanship. Unsellable goods, same thing.
Donald J. TRUMP is certainly a strong willed, determined individual that looked at the
projected people who placed a bid towards the Presidency. Politicians with many years
experience of being involved in a rigged, crooked system? Exactly what President TRUMP
said since Day 1 of his campaign, for those of us

Trump laid it all out on the table and now after the Election has been WON
and awarded by majority Votes and including the Electoral Elected to become
the 45th U.S. President. Donald J. TRUMP. For those of us who supported

noticed MR. TRUMP, his strength, his will and desire to step-in for
obviously no one else said the things (that the true majority) already knows.

Move over, sweet tooth: Introducing the

salt tooth
You've heard of a sweet tooth, but what about a salt tooth?
Some people carry a gene that may give them more of a taste for salt, a
new study finds. People in the study who had a certain variation of a
gene called TAS2R48 were more likely to eat too much sodium than
those who did not have this variant, according to the study, presented
today (Nov. 13) at the American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions
meeting in New Orleans.
"By identifying which gene variant a person has, we may be able to help
them make better food choices through education that is personally
tailored to them," Jennifer Smith, a Ph.D. student in nursing at the
University of Kentucky College of Nursing and the lead author of the
study, said in a statement. However, more research is needed to fully
understand how people's genes impact how much sodium they eat, the
researchers noted.
The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends that people limit
the sodium in their diet to 2,300 milligrams (mg) per day. Too much
sodium can raise a person's risk for high blood pressure, the AHA says.
Those in the study how had the gene variation were nearly twice as
likely to exceed the limit of 2,300 mg, compared with the people who
didn't have this variation, the researchers found.
This is not the first time the TAS2R48 gene has been linked to a person's
sense of taste.
Previous research has suggested that the particular variation of the gene
that the researchers looked at in this study also enhances a person's
perception of bitterness, according to the study. This may be why people
with the gene tend to avoid foods such as broccoli and dark, leafy greens
"There is some research suggesting that individuals who taste bitter more
intensely may also taste salt more intensely and enjoy it more, leading to
increased sodium intake," Smith said.
"Another theory is that they use salt to mask the bitter taste of foods and
thus consume more sodium," Smith said.In the study, the researchers
looked at food diaries from more than 400 people who were participating
in a study aimed at reducing heart disease risk in people living in rural
Kentucky. As a part of the study, the people also had their DNA
analyzed. All of the people in the study had a heightened risk for heart
disease. Other aspects of the people's diet such as how much saturated
fat, sugar and alcohol they consumed were also examined in the
study. The researchers found that variations in the gene had no effect on
these parts of the diet.

TO DFS CITY
A local business owner has
donated numerous trees to the
city of DeFuniak Springs in
an effort to help beautification of the downtown area.
Bruce Naylor, of Nayor
Realty, made the generous
offer to the DeFuniak Springs
City Council during their
regular meeting Monday
night.
Naylor
said he
got the
idea
after
recently
seeing families strolling
among a tree lined street
while attending a conference.
It was nice to see strollers
and people walking the
street, said Naylor.
Horticulturalist Daniel
Leonard of the Walton
County Extension Office told
the council the trees will be a
species of a southern red oak
and can grow as high as 50
feet.
The variety was selected for
their heartiness, strong roots
and other qualities that make
them suitable for urban
environments.
Naylor said the trees, which
cost $175 each, will be
planted along Baldwin Ave.
between 7th and 8th street.
The price is reasonable and
will encourage other business
owners to participate, said
Naylor.
The council voted
unanimously to accept the
offer and expressed their
appreciation to Mr. Naylor
for his support of community

memory and other important mental functions. It is the most

common cause of dementia, a group of brain disorders that
results in the loss of intellectual and social skills.
According to researchers at Mayo Clinic, the brain cells
themselves degenerate and die, causing a steady decline in
memory and mental function. However, current Alzheimer's
disease medications and management strategies may
temporarily improve symptoms. This can sometimes help
people with Alzheimer's disease maximize function and
maintain independence. There's no cure for Alzheimer's
disease, so it is important to seek supportive services and tap
into a support network as early as possible.
At first, increasing forgetfulness or mild confusion may be
the only noticeable Alzheimer's symptoms, but over time, the
disease robs a person of their memory, especially recent

memories. The rate at which symptoms worsen varies from
person to person. Other symptoms may include making repeat

lost in familiar places. Those with Alzheimer's may have
trouble finding the right words to identify objects. Over time,
the ability to read and write also declines. Eventually, people
with advanced Alzheimer's may forget how to perform basic
tasks such as dressing and bathing.
Fortunately, many important skills are not lost until very late
in the disease. These include the ability to read, dance and sing,
enjoy old music, engage in crafts and hobbies, tell stories, and
reminisce. This is because information, skills and habits
learned early in life are among the last abilities to be lost as the
disease progresses.
People with higher levels of formal education, a stimulating
job, who engage in mentally challenging activities, such as
reading, playing games or playing a musical instrument, and
who enjoy frequent social interactions may have a lower risk of
developing Alzheimer's. Scientists can't yet explain this link.
There's no specific test today that confirms Alzheimer's
disease. A physician will make a judgment and provide results
of various tests that can help clarify the diagnosis.
Current Alzheimer's medications can help for a time with
memory symptoms and other cognitive changes.
For someone with Alzheimer's, establishing and
strengthening routine habits and minimizing memory demanding tasks can make life much easier. A calm and stable home
environment can help reduce behavior problems. New
situations, noise, large groups of people, being rushed or
pressed to remember, or being asked to do complicated tasks
can cause anxiety. As a person with Alzheimer's becomes
upset, the ability to think clearly declines even more.
Many people with Alzheimer's and their families benefit
from counseling or local support services. Caregivers should
make use of a local adult day center, if possible. For more
information on the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimers
disease, contact Dr. Mark Hash at Healthmark Regional
Medical Center, (850) 951-4500.

Immigration activists retool their push for

reform, reach out to Trump and GOP

Georgia dad convicted of murder in death of

toddler in hot SUV

A new roster of moderate and conservative Latino groups could have a seat at
President-elect Donald Trumps immigration policy table.
Trump, who campaigned on taking a strong stance against illegal immigration, and
did better with Latino voters than expected getting 29 percent of their vote, and
more than 35 percent in some regions -- could find common ground on the issue with
groups like the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and even conservative leaders
who did not endorse him and have leaned toward a moderate approach to
immigration.
Since the election, groups and Latino leaders around the country who vehemently
denounced Trump for his calls for strict enforcement have called meetings to
strategize how to tailor their push for immigration reform to the new political
landscape that few expected to see in 2017. Many have reached out to Trumps
transition members to arrange meetings or pledge to work together despite
differences of opinion -- to move forward the long-stalled plan to fix the immigration
system.
Their efforts have been unfolding at the local, state and national levels, though they
have generated little attention compared to the spotlight on protests against Trump
and warnings by some advocacy groups about mass deportations.
By the will of the people, Donald Trump was elected the 45th president of the
United States, that is the fact of the matter, said Javier Palomarez, president of the
U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, to FoxNews.com Just as we asked Donald
Trump to adhere to the election results, to be respectful of the process, we, as Latinos,
must do the same in return. Now we need to come together as Americans and put
aside differences.
Palomarez, who had been a vocal critic of Trump and who endorsed Hillary Clinton,
said he called Michael Cohen, executive vice president of the Trump Organization
and special counsel to Trump, to express his desire to work with the president-elect
on immigration and other issues of concern to Latinos.
We both agreed to let bygones be bygones, Palomarez said of his conversation with
Cohen the day after the election. Our job is to remove the emotion, do whats right
for this country, and offer ourselves to the extent that we can add value.
Were in favor of an economic approach to immigration, Palomarez said to
FoxNews.com For us and the 4.1 million Hispanic-owned firms in the United States,
immigration reform has always been an economic imperative.
A feasible approach to immigration reform, Palomarez said, would continue to fuel
the entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to hard work that make businesses
stronger and advance the American Dream.
Palmorez said that he and other leaders will be closely watching Trumps steps to
gauge how open he will be to ideas about how to deal with immigrants here illegally
who have not committed crimes.
Can we advise him on his policies before he acts or pushes for policy changes?
Palomarez asked rhetorically. Can we collaborate with him on areas of mutual
interest? Were going to have meetings with House and Senate Republicans,
Noorani said. We can have a functional legal immigration system, and effective and
humane enforcement.
Trumps tough talk on immigration dominated the headlines. He vowed to build a
wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, as well as step up interior enforcement by going
after criminals, making sure they are not released back into the community, and
deport them.
At the same time, several times including in a town hall with Fox News host Sean
Hannity Trump said that he was mindful of people who, other than breaking civil
immigration laws, were hard-working, have built lives and raised families here, and
were eager to legalize their status.
Trump said that he would determine
how to handle this population after
the borders are secure.
He said he was going to deport
only those involved in nefarious
activities the rapists, murderers
and drug traffickers, said Reverend
Samuel Rodriguez of the National
Hispanic Christian Leadership
Conference, who met with Trump
during the campaign.

A jury in Georgia Monday found a

father guilty of murder in the death
of his 22-month-old son who was
left for hours inside a hot SUV -- a
conviction expected to send the man
to prison for the rest of his life.
Prosecutors say 35-year-old Justin
Ross Harris intentionally killed his
son, Cooper, in June 2014 to escape
from family responsibilities while
he sought sexual affairs outside his
marriage. Defense attorneys say Harris loved his son and that the boy's death was a
tragic accident. Prosecutors charged Harris with malice murder and felony murder,
which required no proof of intent to kill -- just that Cooper died as a result of his
father committing the felony of cruelty to children. Both convictions carry mandatory
life sentences.
Prosecutors indicated earlier in the trial that they would not seek the death penalty.
Harris said he forgot to drop his son off at day care that morning and drove straight to
his job as a web developer for Home Depot, not realizing Cooper was still in his car
seat.
Soon afterward, investigators found evidence that Harris was having sexual
relationships -- both online banter and in-person affairs -- with numerous women,
including a prostitute and a teenager.
Prosecutors argued Harris must have known Cooper was in the car. He drove less
than two minutes to work after strapping the child into his car seat when they finished
breakfast at a Chick-fil-A restaurant just over a half-mile from Harris' office. Parking
lot surveillance video showed Harris also went to his car after lunch and tossed in
some light bulbs he had purchased, though he never got inside.
Harris told police he didn't notice Cooper until he left work for the day to go to a
movie. The boy was dead, having sweltered in the car for about seven hours.
Prosecutors said Harris left online clues to murderous intentions. Evidence showed
that minutes before Harris locked the car door on his boy, he sent an online message:
"I love my son and all, but we both need escapes." Five days earlier, Harris watched
an online video in which a veterinarian sits inside a hot car to show it reaches 116
degrees in a half-hour.
Defense attorneys said Harris was responsible for his son's death, but insisted it was
an accident rather than a crime. Friends and family members testified he was a
devoted and loving father, and the jury watched video clips of Harris trying to teach
Cooper to say "banana" and letting the boy strum his guitar. The joyous moments had
some jurors laughing aloud.
Harris' ex-wife, Leanna Taylor, also came to his defense. She divorced him in March
and bitterly told the jury that Harris "destroyed my life." But she testified he was a
loving father who, regardless of how unhappy he may have been in their marriage,
would not have harmed their son on purpose.
Also testifying in Harris' defense was Gene Brewer, an Arizona State University
psychology professor who specializes in memory and attention. He said it would have
been possible for Harris to forget about Cooper in a matter of seconds.
Harris was also found guilty of sending sexual text messages to a teenage girl and
asked for nude photos of her pubic area. The girl testified Harris knew she was in
high school the months they swapped sexual banter when she was 16 and 17, and
Harris several times sent her photos of his penis. He was asking for a photo of her
breasts the day Cooper died.
Harris moved to Georgia from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in 2012. He lived in the Atlanta
suburb of Cobb County, which is also where Cooper died. Because of intense pretrial
publicity surrounding the case, the judge agreed to relocate Harris' trial 275 miles
away in the coastal port city of Brunswick.
Why would the Prosecutor agree Not Death Penalty?
This Man killed (by heat) this baby boy!
That is also what is wrong with the courts, the sentence doesnt fit the crime of Murder whether intentional or NOT.
Agree?

Have you ever felt that your cat or dog can see something you
dont? Well, you may be right, according to a new study.
Cats, dogs, and other mammals are thought to see in ultraviolet
light, which opens up a whole different world than the one we see,
the study explains.
Seeing the World in Ultraviolet (UV) Light
UV light is the wave length beyond the visible light from red to
violet that humans can see. Humans have a lens that blocks UV
from reaching the retina. It was previously thought that most
mammals have lenses similar to humans.
Scientists studied the lenses of dead mammals, including cats,
dogs, monkeys, pandas, hedgehogs, and ferrets. By researching how
much light passes through the lens to reach the retina, they
concluded that some mammals previously thought not to be able to
see UV actually can.
"Nobody ever thought these animals could see in ultraviolet, but in
fact, they do," Ron Douglas, the study leader and a biologist at City
University London, England, told LiveScience.
What purpose does being able to see UV light serve for animals
such as reindeer, rodents, and other mammals? It allows reindeer to
see polar bears, for example, which would be invisible in regular
light because they blend in with the snow.
UV light also allows mammals to see urine trails. This would be
helpful for prey animals, such as cats and dogs, to find food in the
wild.

Research Finds Dogs Can Read Human

Emotions Through Facial Expressions
Have you ever wondered if your dog understands what youre
thinking when you give him a specific look? According to new
research published in the journal Current Biology, he actually
might.
In a study conducted at the University of Veterinary Medicine,
Vienna, researchers trained dogs to discern between photos of
humans making two different facial expressions one happy and
one angry.
The dogs studied 15 pairs of photographs. The dogs were then put
through a series of tests in which they were shown images revealing
either the upper, lower, or side half of the same faces.
While during the study, the dogs were able to select the angry or
happy face more often than would be expected by random chance in
every case. The research not only shows that dogs can distinguish
between happy and angry expressions, but they can transfer what
they learn to understand new clues.
The study also revealed that dogs were slower to associate an angry
face with a reward, suggesting that the canine participants already
had prior experience learning to stay away from people when they
look angry.
"Our study demonstrates that dogs can distinguish angry and happy
expressions in humans, they can tell that these two expressions have
different meanings, They can do this not only for people they
know well, but even for faces they have never seen before."
Researchers say that these findings mark the first solid evidence
that an animal other than humans can discriminate between
emotional expressions in another species.

Firings and Discord Put Trump Transition

Team in a State of Disarray

One week after Mr. Trump scored an upset victory that

took him by surprise, his team was improvising the most
basic traditions of assuming power. That included working
without official State Department briefing materials in his
first conversations with foreign leaders.
Two officials who had been handling national security for
the transition, former Representative Mike Rogers of
Michigan and Matthew Freedman, a lobbyist who consults
with corporations and foreign governments, were fired.
Both were part of what officials described as a purge
orchestrated by Jared Kushner, Mr. Trumps son-in-law
and close adviser. The dismissals followed the abrupt
firing on Friday of Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey, who
was replaced as chief of the transition by Vice Presidentelect Mike Pence. Mr. Kushner, a transition official said,
was systematically dismissing people like Mr. Rogers who
had ties with Mr. Christie. As a federal prosecutor, Mr.
Christie had sent Mr. Kushners father to jail.

Bernie Sanders 'humiliated'

Democrats can't talk to
'white working class' voters
Sen. Bernie Sanders on Monday blasted the
Democratic Party for failing to connect with
the white working class voters who
overwhelmingly cast their ballots for
President-elect Donald Trump.
The 75-year-old independent Vermont lawmaker, ran a competitive campaign for the
Democratic presidential nomination but was
bested by Hillary Clinton, shared his feelings
in a tweet less than a week after Trump beat
Clinton. The billionaire mogul engineered his
victory in part by appealing to blue-collar
voters in typical Democratic strongholds
such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and
Michigan. I come from the white working
class, and I am deeply humiliated that the
Democratic Party cannot talk to the people
where I came from, wrote Sanders, who was
born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Clintons strategy centered on turning out the
so-called Obama coalition made up largely
of minorities, women and young people. But
shes been criticized for not trying to shore
up the rural, white working-class vote that
helped elect her husband, Bill Clinton, to the
presidency in 1992 and 1996.
