Product Positioning and Features

1.1 Product Postioning

EG860, a broadband wireless router based on the TD-LTE technology, is used for broadband
data access. It enables terminals to access the LTE network through a network port or Wi-Fi to
implement data service conversion. It can be deployed indoor and outdoor, and is widely used
in fixed sites or vehicle-mounted single stations for data collection and wireless HD video
surveillance.

1.2 Product Features

Operates within the TD-LTE network; provides high-speed data service support:
maximum data transmission rate of 100Mbit/s in downlink, 50Mbit/s in uplink;

Supports multiple frequency ranges: 1.8G, 1.4G, 800M, 400M;

Supports flexible uplink and downlink timeslot ratios: 1:3, 2:2 and 3:1, making
high-speed data transmission a reality.

Supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and 64QAM in Uplink

Ingress Protection rating: IP65. Dust and water proof. Able to operate at temperatures
below -40C.

Easy to assemble and use; can be installed both indoors and outdoors; Support POE
Power supply

Embedded DHCP Server, DNS Client and NAT functions: enable high speed routing;

A variety of security encryptions: provides immediate protection against potential risks

and illegal access;

Easy maintenance: web based user-friendly interface for operation and maintenance;

Internal TD-LTE enhanced antenna (1.4G, 1.8G): guarantees high-performance and

carrying convenience; provides option to extend external antenna to ensure regular
performance even with poor signal.

Supports distributed load balancing technology: maximizes network coverage capability

and resource efficiency;

User-friendly LED design facilitates device status observation.

Application Scenario

2.1 Overview
EG860 mainly provides wireless broadband data services and Ethernet services. It can be
independently deployed indoor and outdoor and serves as a wireless gateway.
EG860 supports LTE-TDD wireless routers. It can implement the conversion between LTE
data and Ethernet data.
Figure 2-1 shows the scenario in which EG860 is independently used on an enterprise
network.
