24-37-00 - DC GENERATION MONITORING AND INDICATING
24-37-00 PB 001 CONF 00 - DC GENERATION MONITORING
AND INDICATING - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. General
The monitoring and indicating of the Direct Current (DC) generation are performed by means of:
one voltmeter which indicates to the flight crew the voltage of the three batteries (at each position of the
switch only corresponds the voltage of the selected battery),
the Electronic Centralized Aircraft Monitoring (ECAM) on which the electrical parameters concerning the four
transformer rectifiers, the three batteries and the DC busbars are displayed.

B. Operation ECAM ELEC DC Page

The ELEC DC page of the System Display (SD) enables the flight crew to read the following DC electrical
parameters:
the voltage and current for the four Transformer Rectifiers (TR)s,
the voltage and current for the three batteries,
the status of the DC normal and essential busbars.
Furthermore, the ECAM gives a synoptic of the DC electrical generation specifying the ELEC configuration.
4. Operation/Control and Indicating
A. BAT Voltmeter
(Ref. Fig. Batteries Voltage Indication - Block Diagram SHEET 1)
The voltage of one battery is permanently displayed whatever the aircraft configuration.
The ELEC/BAT/1/2/APU switch has three positions, each corresponding to one battery. The voltage
corresponding to the battery selected appears on the voltmeter.
The three positions are:
position: 1,
The voltmeter displays the BAT1 voltage.
position: 2,
The voltmeter displays the BAT2 voltage.
position: APU.
The voltmeter displays the APU BAT voltage.
B. Operation ECAM ELEC DC Page
The ELEC DC page can be displayed on the SD:
either automatically after a class 1 failure on the DC network,
or manually by selecting the DC ELEC key on the ECAM control panel.
C. Description of ECAM ELEC DC Page
