THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

1.I am the Lord your God, you shall not have other Gods
before me.
2.You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God in
vain.
3.Remember to keep holy the Lords day.

4.Honor your father and your mother.

5.You shall not kill.
6.You shall not commit adultery.
7.You shall not steal.
8.You shall not bear false witnesses against your neighbor.
9.You shall covet you neighbors wife.
10.You shall not covet your neighbors goods.
REFLECTION:
These Ten Commandments were provided to us to live a
Christian Life. These were provided to us because these are
our purposes of living- to do good things to the people
around you and to know, consider, honor one God only, not
because we know that it is right but because we do it fullheartedly, to keep holy the Lords day, to honor our father
and mother and others included in the ten commandments.
Because God has created humans, not only humans but
anything we see, it is a must that we respect and obey the
Ten Commandments of God.

THE SEVEN GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Wisdom
Understanding
Counsel
Knowledge
Fortitude
Fear of the Lord
Piety

REFLECTION:
The Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit were given to us to
perform and practice good way of living as a Christian. Any
of the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit has a good effect on us.
We use these seven gifts from the Holy Spirit to do good
things to the people around us. Being a Christian, is not
honoring and respecting God only but being good to your
neighbors too is a part of it. We must use these seven gifts in
a proper way- in a way that it can make everyone be good to
each other, in a way that we can improve more our faith to
God, in a way that we can improve more our Christian living
and in a way that it can make all things good.

THE TWELVE FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Charity
Peace
Joy

Kindness
Goodness
Gentleness
Generosity
Faithfulness
Modesty
Self-Control
Chastity
REFLECTION:
These were the fruits from the seven gifts of the Holy
Spirit. The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit has been
developed on us and because of that, we become
charitable, faithful, good, gentle, has self-control and
have and feel peace in our surrounding.
THE EIGHT BEATITUDES OF JESUS

1.Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of

heaven.
2.Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
3.Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth.
4.Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for
righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
5.Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
6.Blessed are the pure of hearts, for they shall see God.
7.Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called
children of God.
8.Blessed are they who are persecuted, for the sake of
righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
REFLECTION:
The eight Beatitudes of Jesus for me, is an
encouragement for us to do good deeds and to be a
better version of ourselves to ourselves and to the people
around us. He teaches transformation of the inner

person. Jesus presents the Beatitudes in a positive sense,

virtues in life which will ultimately lead to reward. All of
the beatitudes have meaning but for me the message
that is in the beatitudes, is the promise of salvation and
peace.
