Indications
VF/VT/Asystole/PEA

Atropine

1mg IVP every 3-5 minutes


up to a total of 0.04mg/kg
.5 mg IVP( may repeat) up
to a total of 0.04mg/kg
1-1.5 mg/Kg

Asystole/PEA

Atropine
Lidocaine
Usually followed by a
maintenance infusion
(2 Gms in 250 D5W)
Vasopressin ( epinephrine
alternative)
Amiodarone

VT/VF ( wide complex


tachycardia)

Repeat dose: 0.5mg-0.75
