COMEGA LLC RVU Diplex filter

The COMEGA LLC range of RF diplexers allows the combining or splitting of frequency bands in RF broadband cabling systems.
The units are available for both 30/45 MHz conventional subsplit systems
and for 65/85 MHz Eurosplit systems. There are also versions to combine
VHF and UHF bands, TV and FM bands or TV and Satellite-IF bands.

COMEGA Amplifiers
The COMEGA line of amplifiers complement the range of
products for home installations. Whenever extra signal power
is required in the forward path of CATV the COMEGA line of
home amplifiers will fit into any requirement for quality signal
distribution (examples are shown in the installation guide which
is distributed free of charge).

There are 4 different versions to choose among depending on

the requirements:

The 12dB with fixed amplification is suitable .in most installations as it is often enough for additional wall outlets.

The 24dB with fixed attenuation is suitable when several

extra outlets are required

The 20dB with attenuator is a universal type, which can be used for do-it-yourself concepts as well as a
standard amplifier for the installers.

The 20dB with attenuator and tilt is the most advanced amplifier and is often used as the standard amplifier
for CATV technicians as it incorporates more adjustment facilities.

During the development of this range of amplifiers, we have focused on the output level and the noise figure,
which has resulted in 4 genuine amplifiers for CATV applications.

Saturation, Intermodulation, C/N-Conditions
The above well-known problems often occurs, if you choose an
amplifier with the wrong amplification/output.
If the maximum output of the amplifier is too low, you will have
saturation/intermodulation problems.
If the amplification is not adjusted to the need, you will have problems with the c/n-conditions.
Solution:
Choose an amplifier with a sufficiently high output and an amplification adjusted to the need.

The line of amplifiers also

includes a high power line
amplifier which can be used
as a line extender.

Screening efficiency is an expression meaning how resistant a component or a CATV network is to external
noise or unwanted signals.
As a modern CATV network today typically have 30-60 TV-channels, you have to use the S-channels.
These are extra vulnerable, as these frequencies are also used for other services (such as eg. mobile radio).

Category A: 85 dB @ 5-470 MHz, 75 dB @ 470-860 MHz
