No, not really. There is much news about politics every day. The television and the newspapers are full
of politics but I am not interested. I cant do too much about it. When there are elections I go and vote,
thats all I can do. There are people who talk about politics and they are always angry with somebody
and they always worry about something.

de engem nem rdekel. Nem tudok tl sokat rla. Amikor vlasztsok vannak, elmegyek s szavazok,
ez minden, amit tehetek. Vannak emberek, akik a politikrl beszlnek s mindig mrgesek valakire
s aggdnak valami miatt.
What do you know about the political system of Hungary?
Mit tudsz a magyar politikai rendszerrl?
The Republic of Hungary was created in 1989. Since then we have a free parliament and there are
elections every four years. People can go and vote for different parties. There are two sides, the right
wing and the left wing. In the parliament that party can establish the government who collects the most
votes.
A Magyar Kztrsasg 1989-ben alakult meg. Azta van szabad parlamentnk s vlasztsok minden
negyedik vben. Az emberek elmennek, s klnbz prtokra szavaznak. Kt tbor van, a jobb oldal
s a bal oldal. A parlamentben az a prt alakthat kormnyt, aki a legtbb szavazatot kapja.
How and when are the elections?
Hogyan s mikor vannak a vlasztsok?
There are elections every four years. The next elections will be in 2014. When the time comes, all
parties start their campaigns. There are posters everywhere and they try to tell us what they want to
do. There are political interviews and discussions on TV, every party tries to win more and more
people. When the election day come, people can go to vote and at night we know who wins the
elections.
Minden negyedik vben vannak a vlasztsok. A kvetkez vlasztsok 2014-ben lesznek. Amikor
eljn az id, a prtok elkezdik a kampnyukat. Poszterek vannak mindenhol s megprbljk
elmondani, hogy mit akarnak csinlni. Vannak politikai interjk s vitk a tvben, minden prt
megprbl megnyerni minl tbb embert. Amikor a vlasztsok napja eljn, az emberek elmennek
szavazni s jszaka megtudjuk, ki nyeri a vlasztsokat.
What do you think of EU?
Mit gondolsz az EU-rl?
I think it is very good that we are the part of the European Union. The best thing is that there are no
borders any more so we can go Austria without stopping. Another good thing is that if we want, we can
go to work any country of the EU. Many young people go to Germany or England because they can
earn more money than in Hungary.
Szerintem j, hogy az Eurpai Uni rsze vagyunk. A legjobb dolog hogy nincsenek hatrok tbb s
tmehetnk Ausztriba anlkl, hogy meg kellene llni. Egy msik j dolog, hogy ha akarunk,
dolgozhatunk az EU egy msik orszgban. Sok fiatal megy Nmetorszgba vagy Angliba, mert tbb
pnzt tudnak keresni, mint Magyarorszgon.
When do you think we will have Euro in Hungary?
Szerinted mikor lesz eur Magyarorszgon?
I think it will be very practical and useful. We wont have to change any money, we will get our salaries
in euros. I think we have to wait a few years. Now we are not ready to use the Euro. In the news they
say that we need about seven or ten years. It is said that if we join too early it can be a problem too
because we would have to pay more.
Szerintem nagyon praktikus s hasznos lesz. Nem kell pnzt vltani, a fizetsnket eurban kapjuk.
Szerintem vrnunk kell egy pr vet. Most mg nem vagyunk ksz, hogy eurt hasznljunk. A

hrekben azt mondjk, mg szksgnk van ht vagy tz vre. Azt mondjk, ha tl korn csatlakozunk
az is problma lehet, mert tbbet kellene fizetni.
