Classroommanagement(Professionalcompetency6)
Goal:Makelessonengagingandgiveoutclearinstructions.
Strategies: Changingthe tone ofvoice, walking aroundwhile teaching.Explaintheconcept
using clear and concise language. Use modeling to clarify the instructions and connect the
concept to students background knowledge. Use positive (mostly verbal) reinforcement to
highlightgoodbehaviors.
Discipline
Goal:Useasmallamountofdisciplinestrategiestostopmisbehaviors.
Strategies:Cuemisbehaviors,standnexttothestudent.Pointatthepictogramsontheboardto

Differentiation:
Usebase10blocksandtheirvisualrepresentationstopresentanumber,thiswillhelpvisual
learnerstounderstandtheconceptofborrowing.
Verbal repetition of the instructions and modeling of the concept will allow students with
languagecodesorattentiondeficittofollowlessonandtograsptheconcept.
-Students who have difficulties in math will complete the Practise question
with the teacher or the tutor.
