What does my party want in a bill about this issue? Whats the reasoning?

Wants to prompt the free market.

The free market will promote competition and prosperity.
If prices are high on one company and there competition has a lower price this
creates lower prices for consumers.
Less restrictions will mean a more beneficial free market.
If we start the exploration of offshore drilling then we continue the reduced price
of oil and create new jobs.
By using all of our resources and technology we can reduce our cost of energy
benefiting the lower to middle income family.
Want all forms of energy.
We cant limit ourselves to one or two forms of energy
Reduce costs of energy for everybody
Clean and traditional energy.
The coal
Oil/ gas
Solar
Nuclear
Wind
Hydro
Geothermal
Natural Gas
Climate change not a priority.
Republicans recognize that climate change is an issue but there are more
pressing issues that need to be prioritized
Cap and trade deal
To reduce pollution by giving incentives to business.
It covers all major sources of pollution.
Emitters can release only limited pollution.
Industry can plan ahead and be able to know if the cap will be higher or lower.
Companies can turn pollution cuts into money
The option to buy allowances gives companies flexibility but not destroy
production
The same amount of pollution cuts are achieved.

Create more jobs

Technology will reduce pollution in the next several decades
As we progress to the future technology will reduce our pollution
Not a priority
Energy Independence
There is currently 1.65 trillion barrels of oil in the world reserve. We need to make
sure that we have enough oil reserves to fuel the constantly growing population.
We currently are relying on china for minerals that are needed for technology.
We have these minerals all through the united states and if the government had
less regulations on mining we could move towards a energy independent
america.
What would my party be willing to compromise on? Why? Who might we target
for these compromises?
Changing the energy industry towards clean energy to create more jobs.

What are potential inclusions that my party would object to? Why?
Remove subsidies from oil/gas.
Oil /gas provides about 170,000 jobs losing the oil/gas industry would be a huge
set back
More regulations
Regulations slow down productions and cost money for the company
When requesting to drill on federal land it can take up to seven months to receive
a permit. If we gave the choice to the state level we could further our production
of oil/gas.
The president's war on coal
Coal is a huge industry that provides income for families and power and warmth
for a huge portion of the US people .
No carbon tax

Risk to jobs
The infrastructure is not ready for a big jump to clean.
We need the already existing infrastructure of traditional energy

Blm rule making

Oil and gas reduce methane emissions
Eco and human benefits
Air quality
Dried mercury deprivation in mesa verde
Habitat destruction
Increase in asthma and premature deaths
86 times more potent than co2
Venting methane want oil
Limit venting leak detection
Royalties/ job creation/
Shaw solar
160 percent growth
Wind solar dont compete
Financial value
of pay for solar than natural gas
Equal amount of workers oil and gas and solar
10% more expensive in us But better
30% tax credit for solar
80% drop in price for solar since 2006
18,000 before tax credit 12,000 after
Loss of maintenance jobs
Batteries are very important
Less and less methane lost
1/10 to 1 percent of methane lost

100 mcf per day

Best wells 3 million mcf a day
40k to 50k per day to be economic
1/10 of the price
Over regulation
Unfairness with evaluating wells
Natural gas supports the san juan basin
1 barrel of oil is 35 gallons(132.489 liters)
Coal usage is down 4% and Natural Gas usage is up 3% from 2012 to 2015
US Energy Information Administration
Capacity factor means reliability or how available
Natural gas companies are for reduction of leaking
