HAVE QUESTIONS? WE HAVE ANSWERS!

Q: What are the dates for enrollment?

A: Here are the dates to remember:
Seniors January 20
Freshmen January 21
Sophomores January 22
Juniors January 23
Q: What if I cant go to school on the date of my enrollment?
A: Find someone who can proxy for you and provide him with the
following things:
Authorization letter
Scanned or photographed back-to-back copy of your ID
ID number and password for your student account if you have
not yet printed your assessment form
Instructions for your enrollment (e.g. what subjects do you want
to enroll in, etc.)
Q: When do I enroll if I have a back subject?
A: On the date of enrollment of your corresponding year level. For
example, a back subject of Evidence (available on the 2nd semester of
Juniors) can be enrolled on the date of enrollment of the Seniors

Q: Are there other modes to pay aside from cash?

A: Yes! Please refer to the attached document on the procedure for the
other modes of payment.
However, please make sure to email your proof of payment to
law@ateneo.edu or fax it at 886-3615 before the closing of business
hours. Otherwise, you will forfeit the back subjects and electives which
you have enrolled.

Q: What if I fail to pay my tuition fee on the date of my

enrollment?
A: Unfortunately, you will forfeit the back subjects and electives in
which you have enrolled. So please make sure to pay on the date of
your enrollment. Take note that payment can only be made before the
cashier closes.
Also, you will have to pay for a late registration fee if you do not pay on
time. This will differ according to the payment scheme (one, two or
four installments). Moreover, you can choose only from the back
subjects and electives that are still available on the date of your late
payment.
Q: When can I pay at the latest?
A: You can pay until the 1st week of classes, January 25 to 30.
However, you will be considered as cutting classes since you are
technically not yet enrolled until you have paid your tuition fee
To avoid this, you will have to pay before January 25 but again, this will
entail a late registration fee.
Q: Can I drop subjects in which I have already enrolled in?
A: Yes, these are the dates to remember:
90% refund on your tuition fee from January 25 to 30
80% refund on your tuition fee from February 1 to 6
Beyond February 6, there will no more be refunds on your tuition
fee
Q: I took electives during summer, will my tuition fee be
decreased?
A: YES! Youre tuition fee will be decreased based on the number of
units that you have taken. If for example you will pay for your tuition in
a single installment, then your tuition fee will be decreased this way:

Take note of the following information:

Each regular unit is P2628.82
Each overload unit is P3678.40
A junior must take at least 5 units of electives to be
considered taking a regular load
A senior must take at least 4 units of electives to be
considered taking a regular load

If youre an incoming junior who took 5 electives during

summer and will no longer take electives this coming
semester, then your tuition fee will be reduced by
P13,144.10.

o If you still plan to take electives despite having taken

5 units of electives, then you will pay P3678.40 for
each overload unit. But take note that you will still be
entitled to the reduction of your tuition fee based on
the number of units which you have taken during
summer.
If youre an incoming senior who took 4 electives during
summer and will no longer take electives this coming
semester, then your tuition fee will be reduced by
P10,515.28.
o If you still plan to take electives despite having taken
4 units of electives, then you will pay P3678.40 for
each overload unit. But take note that you will still be
entitled to the reduction of your tuition fee based on
the number of units which you have taken during
summer.
If youre an incoming junior who took 3 2-unit electives (a
total of 6 units) OR 4 2-unit electives (a total of 8 units) this
summer, then you will have two options:
o Credit 4 units for the first semester and decrease
your tuition fee by P10,515.28 and take 1 regular
unit of elective.
o Credit 6 units for the first semester and decrease
your tuition fee by P12,094.52
Decrease tuition fee by P13,144.10 (P2628.82
x 5 units)
Increase tuition fee by P1,049.58 (1 overload
unit worth P3678.40 1 regular unit in excess

of the 5 unit requirement for first semester

P2628.82)
P13,144.10 - P1,049.58 = P12,094.52

DISCLAIMER: All the above-mentioned examples are only

applicable when your tuition fee will be paid on a single installment.
There will be a different way of computing when tuition fee is paid
on two or four installments. This is why it is necessary to participate
in the final enlistment of electives or personally see Maam Wawie
in Window 4 to accurately determine your tuition fee.
