to create interest in the topic of sports and activities;
to revise/ introduce the vocabulary related to the topic;
to use can/ cant when they talk about the sports they practice;
to raise expectations and create involvement in the listening, speaking and reading task;

to motivate students to use the new vocabulary;


to encourage the students to communicate with each other.
Skills: integrated, mainly speaking;
Didactic strategies:
a) Procedural resources: elicitation, explanation, individual work, conversation, reading comprehension, pair
work/group work.
b) Material resources: cd, cd-player, textbooks, student' notebooks, the blackboard, chalk, poster, hand-outs.

from exercise 1 page 48 (Language Booster).

T explains Ss that they have to write sentences using the verb
