DO YOU WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL? NO

MATTER WHAT IT IS YOU'RE DOING IN
LIFE MOST PEOPLE WANT TO BE
SUCCESSFUL AT IT. HOWEVER, A
LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE BELIEVE
THE MYTH THAT ACHIEVING SUCCESS
IS MORE DIFFICULT THAN IT
ACTUALLY IS. SUCCESS IS ACTUALLY
AS SIMPLE AS APPLYING THE 10 TIPS
BELOW. IF YOU TAKE THESE TIPS AND
IMPLEMENT THEM INTO YOUR LIFE,
SUCCESS IS GUARANTEED.

1. MAKE YOURSELF THE MVP

NO MATTER WHAT IT IS YOU'RE DOING IN LIFE THERE'S A BEST AND A WORST.

FOR EXAMPLE, YOU CAN BE THE BEST PAINTER OR THE WORST PAINTER OR
SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN. WHERE YOU FIT IN DETERMINES YOUR VALUE. THE
CLOSER YOU ARE TO THE BEST THE HIGHER YOUR VALUE. THEREFORE, MAKE
YOURSELF THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER. ASK YOURSELF WHAT PEOPLE ARE
WILLING TO PAY FOR AND WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER THAT'S ALIGNED WITH
YOUR VALUES, STRENGTHS, AND GOALS. THE GREATER YOUR VALUE THE MORE
PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO PAY AND THE GREATER YOUR SUCCESS.

2. FOLLOW YOUR PASSION

MOST SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT THEY DO. THEY'VE
FOUND THEIR PASSION AND FOLLOW IT. YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF WHAT
MOVES YOU, WHAT EXCITES YOU, AND WHAT ARE YOU GOOD AT. WHEN YOU'RE
FOLLOWING YOUR PASSION IT BECOMES EASIER AND LESS LIKE WORK.

3. ALWAYS BE EXTRA

SEEK OUT YOUR ADVANTAGES AND CAPITALIZE OFF OF THEM. FIND THE STAND-
ARD AND PUSH PASS IT. GET NOTICED, BE SPECIAL AND SPECTACULAR, AND
STAND OUT. THE MORE ATTENTION YOU GRAB THE MORE OPPORTUNITIES YOU
CREATE AND THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES FOR SUCCESS. IF EVERYONE ELSE
WEARS FEATHERS ADORN YOURSELF LIKE A PEACOCK. IF EVERYONE ELSE DOES
A BACK FLIP LEARN TO DO A 360. EXCEL AND BE EXTRAORDINARY!

4. TAKE ACTION NOW

IF YOU'VE BEEN BRAINSTORMING AND PLANNING AND HAVEN'T TAKEN ANY

ACTION YET BECAUSE YOU'RE AWAITING THE RIGHT TIME, THERE'S NO BETTER
TIME THAN NOW. STOP PROCRASTINATING AND START NOW!

5. FIND GOOD MENTORS

THE BEST WAY TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS IS TO GET ADVICE AND GUIDANCE FROM
THOSE WHO HAVE ACHIEVED SUCCESS AT WHAT YOU'RE WORKING AT. WHETH-
ER IT BE YOUR PERSONAL, BUSINESS, OR SPIRITUAL LIFE, SEEK A MENTOR
WHO'S SUCCESSFUL AT IT AND FOLLOW HIS ADVICE AND GUIDANCE. WHO
COULD GUIDE YOU BETTER THAN SOMEONE WHO'S ALREADY BEEN WHERE
YOU'RE AIMING TO GO.
Volume XI Issue I SPRING 2017
GeeChee One Magazine www.geecheeone.com 6

6. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH A SUPPORT GROUP

EVERYONE NEEDS A TEAM BECAUSE WE CAN'T DO IT ALONE. FIND OUT THE PEO-
PLE WHO CAN HELP YOU, WHO'RE WILLING TO LISTEN, ENCOURAGE YOU, AND
REMIND YOU OF HOW FAR YOU'VE COME AND BUILD YOUR CIRCLE WITH THOSE
PEOPLE. YOUR SUPPORT GROUP SHOULD CONSIST OF PEOPLE WHO LIFT YOU UP
CLOSER TO YOUR GOALS. KEEP THEM AROUND YOU!

7. KNOW YOUR FINANCES

DON'T BE OBLIVIOUS TO YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION. KNOW HOW MUCH YOU'VE

SPENT, HOW MUCH YOU OWE, AND HOW MUCH IS OWED TO YOU. KEEP TRACK OF
ALL OF YOUR FINANCES AND KNOW YOUR FINANCIAL WORTH. IF YOU HAVE TO,
TAKE A CLASS AND LEARN HOW TO MANAGE YOUR OWN FINANCES.

8. SEEK HELP

DON'T BE TOO PROUD TO ASK FOR A HELPING HAND. YOU'RE NOT THE BEST AT
EVERYTHING. SO WHAT YOU'RE BEST AT DO YOURSELF AND SEEK HELP FROM
OTHERS WHO'RE BETTER AT OTHER TASKS. TEAM WORK IS THE BEST WORK!
KNOW HOW TO OUTSOURCE TO GET THE JOB DONE IN THE BEST WAY.

9. BE A SALESPERSON

LEARN HOW TO SELL THINGS TO PEOPLE. WHETHER IT BE A VISION OR AN ITEM,

KNOW HOW TO SELL IT. SELLING IS BASED UPON THE ABILITY TO PERSUADE PEO-
PLE TO BUY THINGS. YOU MAY HAVE TO PERSUADE PEOPLE TO BELIEVE IN YOU
OR TO BUY INTO YOUR IDEAS. SO, KNOW THE ART OF PERSUASION AND BE THE
BEST SALESPERSON.

10. NEVER GIVE UP

BE RESILIENT AND PERSISTENT! WHEN YOU DON'T RECEIVE THE DESIRED RE-
SULTS, HAVE THE CONFIDENCE TO REEVALUATE, REPLAN, AND EXECUTE AGAIN
UNTIL YOU GET IT RIGHT.

TAKE HEED TO THESE 10 TIPS AND YOU'LL BE ON YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS AT

WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING.

Accomplishments: So far, I've been able

to find a great manager and have been
allowed to work with more people in
the modeling business.

Goals: My goals are to be able to open up

a kids modeling agency, meet Tyra Banks,
be able to be in movies and videos, and to
travel the world and work with others.

Motivation: I decided to get into model-

ing because I have always been picked on
as a child. But, for some reason I loved
being behind the camera and showing
people its not always about how you
look but your love for it.

Strengths: I think my strength is being

on the runway! When I'm on the runway
I feel like I own the world and everyone
is cheering for me!!!

Weakness: My biggest weakness, I would

have to say would be my height. Most
fashion shows and events are always
looking for models 5'7 and taller.

Challenges: I think my biggest chal-

lenge was doing implied photoshoots for
the first time. I always think I'm too
small and people will be like "oh she's
too skinny to take pictures like that".

Other professions: Besides modeling, I'm

a licensed cosmetologist and a mother
of one. Also, I've hosted a few events.

Celebrity crush: I have never had a

crush on a celebrity model.

Company/agency: I'm not working with a

company as of right now but I do have a
manager. Not being a part of a company, I
think, is way better because I don't have
to worry about any contracts and when
I get paid for events I get all of the
profit.
Sexiest asset: My most sexiest asset, I
would say would be my tattoos!!!

VM: Everything you can think of I've

better person. I realized some wrong that I
have done, especially with the suicide at-

here today. I realized that I am not going
through these things for me but I went
through them to help other people. So I
use my testimony as my ministry and I
talk about it. That's why I love being an
inspirational speaker because I am very
transparent. Not saying I always have
been but going through life it has helped
me. Also, my trust and faith in God has
helped a lot as well. So, it has made me

my career. I just want to accomplish my
goals and to be positive in someone's life
and be an idol to them. To let them look at
me as inspiration and to know the worst is
not for them but only the best.
WH: Why do you think so many of
our youth attempt suicide?
VM: There's many reasons but mostly, in
my opinion, it's due to no one to talk to or
lack of support. Youth have a lot that they
go through and won't speak about it. That
support is everything!
WH: Why do you think the rate of
young girls being raped is so high?
VM: Due to the lack of fathers. When

EACH TIME I THINKOF YOU AND I INTERTWINED
IN SILVER MOONLIGHT LIKE COOL WATER AND BLUE SAND
SHIMMERING ON BROWN SKIN , DRIPPING SWEAT LIKE HOT SKIN
AND PLEASURE FILLED DREAMS, MIDNIGHT EROTIC SCENES
OF YOU AND I BETWEEN
EACH OTHER WRAPPED IN SILK SHEETS,
SWEET LIKE MANGOS AT HARVEST TIME
OR THE JUICE THAT FLOWS DOWN FROM THE TIP OF YOUR SPINE

BABY DONT BE AFRAID, LICKING YOUR SEXUALITY

MIXED WITH CREAM WHIPPED, COME ON GET ON TOP OF ME
AS I UNWIND AND TENSE UP CAUSE I CAN HARDLY CONTAIN MINE
AND THIS A VIDEO RECORDING, SO WILL BE ON CONSTANT REWIND

WHATS YOURS IS MINE, AND MINE IS YOURS, BELONGS TO ME

FOR ALL ETERNITY, UNBELIEVABLY, EYE CAN STILL SEE
THIS EROTIC LOVE, WHEN TWO SOULS CAN STILL FEEL
THE WAY THEY FELT THE FIRST TIME, NOW THAT ISH REAL
