Day 3
Title: National Executive Branch: Centers
Duration: 1 hour

President, Cabinet Members

Students will be completing three centers to
help them understand the roles of people in
the executive branch and its purpose.

Day 4
Title: People of the Executive Branch
Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes

Students will be creating biographies for
officials who work in the executive branch
using a variety of project options.

Day 5
Title: State Legislative branch: centers
Duration: 40 min

the legislative branch in our state.

Title: National legislative Branch: Passing
Bills

learn about the Supreme Court. Centers will
include information about; who is in the
Supreme Court, how a case gets to the
Supreme Court, and important people in the
Supreme Court.

Students will experience what it is like to be
on the Supreme Court. Students will go
through a mock trial of a Supreme Court
Case.

Day 11
Title: Field Trip- courthouse
Duration: 1 hour

and get to meet with a judge and see the
inside of the courthouse.
