OUTLINE FOR STUDENT PROJECT AWARD IMCI


Objective
To recognize and promote original work of high quality carried out by
students, in a professional environment, during pursuit of management
studies. The nature of work involvement should be oriented towards
problems solving with significant value-added for the company concerned.
This is to promote the learning and studies of MBA student
Invitations
The competition is open to invited Mumbai based Management Institutes and
a list comprising of top few Management colleges from India as well. Last
time 26 of the top Institutes participated in the competition.
Selection Procedure to be followed by the invited Institutes:
Applications to be screened, evaluated and forwarded to IMCI by each
Institute based on guidelines (enclosed).
Each Institute can send only one entry.
Elimination/Preliminary Round - IMCI
An elimination round will be held by the Institute and 5 candidates to be
selected by an IMCI panel based on:

Grand Finale:
The 5 candidates to be examined by a distinguished panel of judges on the
basis of:
- A Ten minute presentation *

Trophy
A Rolling trophy for the winning institute to be kept by the institute till the
next year and miniatures to the five finalists.

Guidelines to Institutes for selection of projects
This contest is applicable only to the Final Year Management Students, who have just
finished there Summer assignments or doing it

Only one project to be selected per Institute


A student must have worked in an organisation preferably as a part of his/her degree
requirements.
A representative of the Organisation concerned and/or the institute should ideally
have supervised the work.
The work should be in an area related to the management function.
The output of his/her work should be in the form of a comprehensive Project report
document authenticated by the Company.
Each selected student should enclose the following with the enrolment Form:
