GUIDE (Simplified): RAW on 5D mark III with

Magic Lantern (Updated May 12th 15)

Yes, the source for the still above is a 1080p 14bit RAW shot with the 5D mark III with Magic Lantern!!! And
heres a test video showing you how that looks in motion with an article elaborating the work with the camera:
LINK.
The developers working on the Magic Lantern hack for the Canon 5D mark III have enabled continuous
14bit RAW recording last year. We tested it and it works great. The resulting images are totally
breathtaking for a DSLR. The installation procedure has now been strongly simplified.
Please follow our complete dummies guide to squeeze the RAW bits out of a Canon EOS 5D mark III.
NOTE: We take no responsibility for what happens when you follow our guide. Do it at your own risk
and research on your own if you want to make sure.
NOTE: When installing Magic Lantern your camera will start up 2 seconds slower (this can now be
undone by simply uninstalling Magic Lantern)

What you need:

A Canon 5D mark III. If you buy one, please get it HERE.
A simple SD card for the firmware. We used this one.
A good UDMA 7 card reader, we recommend this one for USB 3: LINK
A very fast CF card. You have the following options:
San Disk Extreme Pro 160MB/s most reliable high end & most expensive
Lexar Professional 1066x reliable and stable & less expensive than before
Transcend 1000x 64GB Sometimes works. But not recommended. People reported some unstable cards.
Komputerbay 1000x 64GB By far the cheapest, about 50% report success and stability. For other users
the card dies. Komputerbay replaces the card, but exchange seems rather slow. Make sure you get the
64GB version!
(You get 25 minutes of 1080p on a 128GB card)
Installing RAW on the Canon 5D mark III:
1. Make sure your 5D mark III has a fully charged battery.
2. Make sure your camera is on firmware 1.2.3 ( in your camera go to menu > yellow tab > firmware ver.:
), otherwise update to 1.2.3 by downloading it HERE.
3. Download the Magic Lantern package. (latest, stable release we tested from April 28th 2015)
4. Copy the whole contents of the downloaded folder to the root folder on your SD (!!!) card. This can be
a slow card, it only holds the firmware and it always has to stay inside the camera.
5. Place the SD card in your camera, switch it on and go to the firmware update (yellow tab) in the camera
menu. Do the update which will make your camera Magic Lantern ready.
6. The camera now installs, wait until the green please restart your camera text appears. Now follow the
instruction and turn your camera off and then on again.
7. Now place that fast CF card you bought (see above) into the camera.
8. Switch camera on. Immediately you will see different overlays than usual and the camera will probably
instantly go into live-view.
9. Now press the trash button on the camera to activate Magic Lantern. The Magic Lantern menu
will load.
10. Go to the Modules menu with the squares symbol (on the far right).
11. Select the RAW module (mlv_rec.mo) and activate it. It lights up green. Also activate the file_man and
mlv_play modules.
12. Restart the camera (leave some seconds off)
13. Go to the trash menu again and go to the menu with the video camera symbol.
14. Select the RAW video tab and press SET button on your camera.
15. Now press the Q button to access the RAW menu.
16. Set your width and height to be 19201080 for HD recording. Leave the other options as they are for
now.

17. Exit the menu by pressing the trash button again. Set your desired framerate in the Canon menu.
(should work up to 30p with the proper CF card!)
18. To record go about as usual, press the start/stop button.
19. You will see the camera capturing (or dropping) frames
20. If youre dropping frames either your card is too slow or you need to turn some options OFF in the RAW
menu. If nothing works try lowering the resolution a little.
Note: If youre dropping frames in the first two seconds of the recording you might also have the wrong card
selected in Canons folder menu.
Note 2: To record larger files than 4GB format your CF card in the exFAT file system. Ask Google if you dont
know how to do it.
See a list of great new features in 2014 here in this article: Shooting RAW on a Canon 5D mark III in 2014
What you have to know
If you buy a Canon 5D mark III, please get it HERE to reward our efforts and PLEASE ALSO MAKE SURE
YOU DONATE TO MAGIC LANTERN FOR MAKING THIS AWESOME DEVELOPMENT POSSIBLE:
LINK

Other tips:
To shoot slow motion press the Q button in live view and change Canons framrate setting there. After
that check your resolution in the Magic Lantern RAW menu and unsqueeze it in post. It actually looks
pretty cool, check out this work.
To preview footage quickly on a Mac, get the MlRAWviewer (Link updated May 12th 15. See
instructions or Windows version in forum)
Detailed in-depth info on the numerous options in the menus: LINK

Uninstalling (removing the 2 second delay at startup):

1. Make sure your 5D mark III has a fully charged battery!
2. Get the SD card that holds the contents of the latest Magic Lantern Package which you downloaded in step 3.
above.
5. Place this SD card in your camera, switch it on and go to the firmware update (yellow tab) in the
___camera menu. Do the update.
4. The camera now installs, wait until the green please restart your camera text appears. Now DO NOT turn
your camera off.
5. Wait 30 seconds and the camera will automatically uninstall any remains of Magic Lantern.

New workflow and post-processing guide:

There are several 3rd party software applications that turn either your .RAW or .MLV files into cinemaDNG
image sequences which is a recognised RAW recording format. These files can be edited in Premiere Pro CC
natively or can be used in DaVinci Resolve.
Heres a simple workflow I found very usable in OSX:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Shoot your movie in the .MLV file format.

(Backup your CF cards on your editing computer.) You can combine this with step 3.
Convert the .MLV files to cinemaDNG using the RAW Magic app.
(Losslessly compress your cinemaDNG files using the SlimRAW app & save 60% disk space)
Import the cinemaDNG folder into Premiere CC via the Media Browser tab! (or into DaVinci Resolve
Lite (free))
6. Download Hunters LUT to apply a basic color correction to your files. Follow the tutorial for DaVinci
Resolve here.
7. Export your clips in DaVinci Resolve as proxies (also see above tutorial) or edit natively in Premiere CC.

8. (Edit in your editing software and at the end make your final grade in DaVinci Resolve.)
For more in-depth information on Magic Lantern and the ongoing RAW hack consult the official Magic Lantern
Forum.

Alternative / Windows / old workflow:

1. The camera produces .RAW files which need to be converted to something usable first.
___This can be done with an app they wrote called raw2dng.
___OSX app: download HERE, info HERE (Updated June 19th 2013)
___If youre on Windows get the .exe here: LINK
2. Open the raw2dng app and drop your .RAW files into the app, one after another.
3. The app creates new folders with a sequence of .dng files in them.
4. The .dng files that come out of this are raw files you can open in several programs. We
___found it can only be opened with Adobe programs which is unfortunate as this makes
___the workflow even more complicated. It does not work in DaVinci Resolve (yet).
[UPDATE Mac]: Theres a new app that converts files to cinemaDNG which can be read by DaVinci
Resolve: RAWmagic
[UPDATE Win]: Heres an apperation of the old app which will convert directly to cinemaDNG which
can be read by DaVinci Resolve: raw2cdng (developer site)
Update: Faster workflow in Photoshop here: LINK
After Effects workflow:
1. We had to put the files for each shot into separate folders.
2. In AfterEffects the .dng files can be converted to any format you like. We chose to
___convert to ProRes 422 (HQ).
3. We imported the files into an empty project by selecting only the first file of each
___.dng sequence.
4. The RAW dialogue pops up. At this point you can color correct with the Adobe
___RAW tool, but we wanted to do a final grading later.
___So we just corrected the wrongly set tint value from +77 down to 0.
5. The file imports, but is interpreted as 30fps. To change that for the next shots we
___changed the default framerate in the AfterEffects preferences menu to 24.
6. Right clicked the imported file and clicked set proxy to movie.
7. On the Render Dialogue that now pops up we set Render Settings to Best Settings
___and created a new Output Module for Quicktime ProRes 422 (HQ).
8. The rendering took forever and After Effects crashed numerous times.
___We really dont like that application for this kind of workflow, sorry Adobe.
___Heres a better workflow we found, the downside is its converted to 8bit: LINK

Hi Sebastian,
The file 5D3-113-bootflag.fir does not works. When I update the firm ware it gave me the error as follows:
Firmware update program
Update file cannot be found.
Please check the memory card and reload the battery and try again.
Please advise. Thank you.

Did you sort this issue out in the end? I just had the same/similar thing. Think I accidentally had a bootable card
without the ML files on it. Thankfully sorted it by replacing the boot flag fir. on the card with canon firmware
and it restored to normal

little longer ;)

Reply
Steve Goossens May 14, 2013

Well, there is CHDK for Canon PowerShot cameras that enables RAW and a whole load of bracketing, live
histograms, remote control, and programmable scripts.

Reply
Hawaj May 15, 2013

All the Magick Lantern stuff came from CHDK and even this DNG RAW breakthru is based of CHDK
research!
There was same image processor in some compact cameras models.

hi,
i saw a little glitch at 00:54.. any reason that might caused that?
does it happened inside the camera (processing huge raw footage to CF) or in rendering process?
thanks

Reply
Johnnie Behiri May 14, 2013

The glitches happen inside the camera. 1 shot out of 40 was dead. And about 4-5 small glitches in total.
Remember this was enabled 24 hours ago and is an Alpha. They are working on it and will improve it.

Reply
Kevin Tanuwidjaja May 14, 2013

yes,
i do believe the ML team will be able to release the stable version soon..
it is a huge achievement for them but Canon is the one who benefited from it.. shame..
time to invest on great CF to support this raw footage!

cheers

Reply
nitsan May 22, 2013

found a solution posted by someone else on this page.

Putting the files in a directory that has no spaces anywhere in the path worked.
That means a hard drive named mountain lion wont work but a hard drive named mountainlion should be
fine.
be sure that there are no spaces in the folders that the raw file is in.

Reply
Fletcher Murray June 9, 2013

Hi. There are no spaces in the folder I have my raw files in. Still I get the same message as guys above.
Sebastian can you help us out? Maybe just going through the shorter workflow process in more detail will
reveal where were going off the rails. First of all, Im using files that Luke Neumann provides that he shot of
the sheep on a hillside. Maybe if you posted the files you used for your demo, Sebastian, then wed all be on the
same page.

Reply
Sebastian Wber June 9, 2013

Get the latest raw2dng app from the link above. If it doesnt work its either youre on a weird path on a remote
disk or your files are for some reason not compatible.

Reply
Martin May 14, 2013

c5d, what you say that is a lenghty process how many time should it take for, lets say a 10 second clip of
raw.

Reply
Sebastian Wber May 14, 2013

the debayering and the conversion to prores 4444 after that did about 100 frames a minute. But the lengthy part
were the many clicks in between to tell the apps what to do etc.

The firmware shows ML firmware version but every time the camera is off and switched back on, it returns to
the Canon 1.1.3 firmware version.

Enabled DSLR bootable. Now display message script dir missing

Reply
Sebastian Wber May 14, 2013

Try deleting the 5D3-113-bootflag.fir file from the SD before proceeding with the autoexec and ML. Does it
work?

Reply
Rocco May 14, 2013

YES! That was the missing part. After deleting the .fir, its a GREEN LIGHT! Who hoo :) Thanks boss!!!

Reply
Grif May 14, 2013

Id say a good orkflow for .DNG files would be via lightroom.

Reply
Rocco May 14, 2013

Okay, I am stuck on #16. The firmware showing on the camera goes back to 1.1.3. I did enable DSLR bootable
with the MacBoot.class, and it said it was successful. What I find a little unclear is, should the 5D3-113bootflag.fir stay on the root SD card after copying autoexec.bin & the ML folder onto the SD card?
When I put the 5d3-113-bootflag.fir with steps 5 through 7, that DID work, ie, it put overlays on the menus
complaining it was missing this-and-that file.
Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Reply
Sebastian Wber May 14, 2013

Im sorry that wasnt clear. I updated the guide. Im pretty sure you have to delete the 5D3-113-bootflag.fir file
before proceeding with the autoexec and ML folder! Hope that helps. Best, Seb.

Reply
Rocco May 14, 2013

lol, ahh, I see you added that to your guide, thank you very much. I will now try again :) Super thank you for
posting this Sebastian!!!

Reply
Rocco May 14, 2013

okay, answered my own question, DELETE 5D3-113-bootflag.fir, did not see that mentioned in step# 8

Reply
Rocco May 14, 2013

Unfortunately, now I am stuck on #18, the firmware is functioning, but no modules are listed, but especially
raw_rec ok does not show in the list of modules. (no modules are in this list) any ideas?

Reply
Sebastian Wber May 14, 2013

We got that too once. Try rebooting, try to change things around in your Canon menu, or the dial mode? Its still
a buggy Alpha stage. Will improve over time.

Reply
Rocco May 14, 2013

Okay, I figured out how to get raw_rec ok module to show up consistently. Make sure camera is off. Switch the
camera to movie recording not picture taking (that is the key) turn on, push trash icon to pop-up the ML
menus. When selecting load module, press the PLAY button on camera. Doing this brings it up consistently!
Might want to add this to the directions for people. Again, thanks a bunch!

Reply
Jocke September 24, 2013

ay a bit late reply, perhaps you have solved it already but Ill post my work-around anyway: I got the modules to
show up consistently by enabling Card test at startup under Card settings in ML. Works like a charm for me!

Only seen 720 so far, but perhaps due to people using slower cards?
Also sounds like there is a need for the Vaf filter for the mark 2.
Was also wondering if the 2.1.2 would work with ML,as it enables UDMA 7 cards on mk 2.
Sell the mark 2 and buy a mark 3?

Hi Sebastian,
Im also very excited about this and really keen to get it working. Having read all of the above I have also hit a
glitch and been trying for hours to overcome it. I have followed steps exactly as above and have firmware 1.1.3
etc.
When I load bootflag.fir onto card, the camera starts by updating, then says could not find ML files, and then
goes through a series of other error meessages then some garbage half way up the screen which seems to stay
there. Firstly is this what you mean by the weird overlays?
When I proceed with the remaining steps (including making card bootable on PC with EOScard), then I reinsert
it, with the autoexec and ML files, I dont get any change when I press the trash button.
Please help! its driving me nuts!

OK I will try that, but while Im waiting to be registered, could someone confirm something? I have been using
M mode. Could you (or someone else) just confirm roughly what you see on the see on the screen when you
update using the bootflag file? I see an error message saying could not find ML files then a bunch of others,
then some fuzzy bars half way down screen. Is this normal? Im trying to work out if the error is at this stage or
later on.
Thanks

Oh darn! I have a problem!
I cant remove the bootflag from the camera. Now it always wants to update the firmware every time I switch it
on. Ive tried formatting the card (this is supposed to reset it but it doesnt.)
Also holding down the set button is supposed to do this too but it doest.
Now my camera is permanently changed.
Even if I take out the batteries. And even if I clear all the internal settings.
If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.
Thanks!!

Reply
Jeff646 May 17, 2013

Solution!
So to stop the camera from autobooting heres what I did:
1 format the card in the camera.
2 Switch off the camera
3 put the original canon firmware v 1.1.3 back on the sd card
4 switch on the camera and update the firmware. Wait until that process finishes.

5 switch off the camera

6 pull out the battery for a few seconds. put the battery back in.
7 switch back on the camera
(I know this sort of seem logical but theres a lot posts out there saying this will not reset the bootflag setting in
the camera.)
That was very scary for a while. I thought I might have been stuck with a camera that would have to have
Magic Lantern firmware running the whole time.

It is still installed even if it looks like on the first sigth. If you put an SD Card in that has AUTOEXEC.bin on it

Interestingly, this has happened before to me too. It seems to happen frequently on thunderbolt drives (at least to
me) when I copy to internal HD, it never does this. So one quick solution for now is to copy them to your
internal drive, run the raw2dng to convert, then copy that to your thunderbolt and continue workflow.

The folder that contains the raw files(that youre trying to convert), are there any spaces in the name of that
folder? If so, delete them

Reply

THANK YOU!
Putting the files in a directory that has no spaces anywhere in the path worked.
For people reading this, that means a hard drive named mountain lion wont work but a hard drive named
mountainlion should be fine.
be sure that there are no spaces in the folders that the raw file is in.

Reply
Matt's Smith May 19, 2013

The speed of the card is not connecting with the correct frequency of the files, this can cause that problem.
Possibly because its a 16gig and the file you are capturing nears the limit to interfere with the frequency?

Komputerbay cards are unreliable. This is a great tutorial, aside from the fact that its recommending a card that
is proven unreliable (dont take my word, head over to the ML forums).
The one I just got (128GB) had a write speed of 73MB/s, which isnt enough for 19201080. The write speed of
the card was way below what they advertised. Back in the mail it goes!
I know this site is probably making some good money off the Amazon link, but a little warning would help
folks make a more informed decision. Thanks.

Reply
Sebastian Wber May 27, 2013

Hi Eric,
We know Komputerbay Cards not consistent in their write speeds. However we also know that many
Komputerbay cards do achieve the writespeeds advertised. Hence I recommend simply sending the card back
and getting a replacement. If money is no issue you can save the trouble by getting one of the Lexars which
have the same internals and cost almost 4 times as much: http://c5d.at/1oj

Reply
eric May 31, 2013

Thanks for the reply.

I returned the KomputerBay 128GB, and bought a Hoodman 64GB locally. I ordered a KomputerBay 64GB,
which Im confident will be sufficient. I will avoid all 128GBs until I get confirmation of a solid one. I tried a
Transcend 128GB, which was not terribly fast either (low 80s write speed). I returned that. I have a Lexar 32GB
from awhile back, which has a solid low 90s write speed, but 32GB is pretty small.
All the hassles are totally worth it! :-)

back to the camera icon on the top menu area and Raw video should now be an option. If you did all the other

I format the card first in the camera, put the 5D3-113.bootflag.fir in the root dir, put SD card in camera and do
the firmware update and then it will tell me could not fine ML files and the screen goes blank and does
nothing else.
Anyone have any ideas?

There are (3) files you need to have on your card. 2 are files, and 1 is a folder:
5d3-113-bootflag.fir
autoexec.bin
ML (folder)
If you dont see these on your card, it wont work properly. Make sure you have these files before you begin the
tutorial.

Hey guys.
I had no problems updating my 5Dmk III with ML RAW this summer.
But now I just get this message: can not find ML files when I`m trying to update the camera with 5D3-113bootflag.fir.
I tried different SD cards and charging the battery fully up and M mode. It just will not complete the update.

Someone who can help? please

they are under 2 GB, when they are over 2 GB i get this me message. Any ideas how to get around this ?

I believe this was an error in the old versions of the app. Do you have the newest raw2dng?

The ML splash screen is not showing up when I press the trash bin button :( And Im pretty sure Im having
trouble when booting my SD card (16 GB MS-DOS FAT32) with Macboot I select disk5, Max card size
16GB, Make DSLR Bootable and click prepare card and it tells me Making card bootable failed. When I
click debug on, this information pops up:
dd: /dev/disk5s1: Permission denied
return code was 1
Command diskutil mountDisk disk5 = Volume(s) mounted successfully
return code was 0
Does anyone have any idea what am I doing wrong please? :/
Thanks for the help!

Hi,
Having trouble converting up some of my .RAW files to .dng. They are all 4.29GB and will not convert. Any
help would be appreciated.

Reply
ido March 23, 2014

i had the exact same problem

it believe it is caused by the fact that the cf card was not formatted to ex-fat and therefor the raw2dng app does
not recognize these files (that are larger then 4 giga)
if you come up with a solution please let me know

Hi All
Brand new 5DIII, followed the Magic Lantern hack to the letter and got it installed. However tried recording a
video and the view finder is barely visible. The resulting playback looks ok but would not say its RAW because
the 5dIII is good quality regardless. my question is Is that normal or should I do a complete reinstall and even
better if there is a fix. thanks for letting me into your world

5D3 record in format ProRes422 ???

Reply

Krane December 31, 2013

It records in 14bit uncompressed raw. A format that needs to be converted for editing. The Blackmagic cameras
record in ProRes and acquisition and editing format.

Hi all question about write speeds. Followed this great guide and it worked great however no matter what card
Ive tried I can only get 4 or 5 seconds of recording at 1920 x 1080 Magic lantern says 103 mbs required and I
am only getting 79 -84. This is with a variety of cards. I recently purchased a 32 gb Delkin 1050x card which
claims a write speed of 120 mbs and is supposed to be 4K compatible and it still doesnt work at 19201080
resolution. Similar results with SanDisk extreme pro etc. Does anyone know if this is just an issue of getting the
right card or may I be doing something wrong. Ive tried many different settings in the canon menu to see if it
helps and it doesnt. Any help would be greatly appreciated

part of the Alpha 3 package on the ML site, but Im a bit worried about using it as part of a different package

Maybe you missed step 17. There have been some changes in how the fw works. You have to restart the camera
after enabling the RAW.
Theres no need to redo the bootflag step, you do that only once. Hope it helps

Ok i think i got it working now, i shouldnt have deleted the 5D3-113-bootflag.fir from the SD card

sebastian,
Im using a mac os X 10,9,2
I just spent 3 hours trying to install magic lantern on my mark iii, my firmware as been downgraded to 1,1,3 ,
and I got the 3 files to put on my 32go lexar SD card (I also tried a 4go) : ML, autoexec.bin, and the
5d3113bootflag.
I tried both ways:
1/ like you said, first instal the file 5d3-113bootflag on the sd card , put the card in the canon, and update the
firmware, the it failed because the other files (ML and autoexec.bin) are not on the card
2/ Like charlie lock said, all in one step, I put the 3 files on the sd card, run the macboot for preparing the card,
then put the card in the canon, and nothing, black screen with the red light flashing, and finally have to put out
the battery.
I also mixed both ways, put the 3 files on the sd card without macboot, run the firmware update for magic
lantern, then ok the firmware is updated, but I cannot see the magic lantern when I click on the trash button (it s
normal I didnt macboot the card, even if I macboot it after it doesnt work)
please can someone help me?
I tried everything and nothing works, I follow every topics on the internet and youtube
thx

as you said I dont need to have a fast SD card, Im using a very old one I had, 2 gb only when I try to start
the upgrade the message I get is:
memory card containing firmware is required to update.
and I cant even proceed with the update
is that because of the SD card? or something else needs to be done?
also my CF card is only a 16 GB 120MBS, UDMA 7. is that enough only for short videos? like 4 or 5
minutes?
Can I change the CF card at any time without needing doing something else, as long as the SD card is in the
camera?
Sorry for that many questions, hope you can help me.

Reply
Sebastian Wber August 11, 2014

Hi Andre,
It sounds like you didnt include all the files from the download on the SD card. Make sure all the files are on
the card and try again. the ML5D3123.FIR file should be on there. I think it should work, or try with a different
card.
Your UDMA 7 CF card can work if it is the SanDisk Extreme (no pro) you have. It is right on the edge but can
work. Try it and try different options in the menu to see what works best with your card.
If it is not SanDisk it will probably not work as the others are all slower.

Yes, it is normal, it is RAW and must be handled in post. If it doesnt work with different settings then the card
is too slow.

I have looked at your post immediately, I will check it out again but,
Ive just bought new equipment and want to record raw video with magic lantern. I have read and watched lots
of things/videos about it but I am not sure understanding truely how I do it. So Could you let me know if I am

missing something, step by step..

*Bootable 32GB SD card with Eosutility and copy magic lantern
*Update Canon firmware and install ML
*Adjust the raw settings and choose card 2 for recording raw which is 256GB 1060x
*Never pull out 32GB SD card from camera body? It doesnt work if I do?
*Every Switch On/Off I need to re-install ML?
*After Shooting a footage? May I remove scene that Ive just shooted?
*Open DCIM and drag into raw file to raw2dng and wait till make a squence?
*And how to make it to 2k or 4k videofile?
*Then import After Effects(16bit project file) Add some effects, editting and render it? Quicktime? h264?
Cineform? or ProRess with cinec gold?
I have Canon Mark3, using Adobe After Effects and Windows7
I know there are lots of threads about it but didnt catch em all what I want to learn, so please help me out if I
missing something

Does your new workflow with SlimRAW only save disk space or does it also speed up the workflow in
comparison to the other workflow options? From the description provided, it makes it sounds like you dont
have to do any rendering until the very end.

Hello I installed ML Raw back in Feb of 2014. There seems to be a lot of improvements along with no longer
needing a bootflag. Is there a way of updating the old ML build without restoring the 1.2.3 firmware and then
reinstalling the new ML?
The reason why I am asking is because I do not have the option to update my firmware to uninstall ML, When I
go to the canon firmware update menu and press update my screen says it needs firmware to update. Is there a
step I am missing to uninstall the ML firmware?

Hi Sebastian, just a little doubt: in the very last line of your text you say Heres a better workflow we found,
the downside is its converted to 8bit: LINK. Ive seen the videotutorial and actually the tiffs saved in ACR
were 8bit only. But that was a choice, isnt it? Because in ACR you could also save the same tiffs at 16bit, is
that right?
Thanks for your help.

Reply
Sebastian Wber March 31, 2016

Hi Adriano,
That was 3 years ago, so its hard to remember the reason really. I doubt that Id say its only 8bit if there had
been a choice of more though. maybe today the software is different.
I think RAWMagic is really your best option.
