Characterized a UV light source such that the parameters of high power output,
intensity uniformity, and the diameter of the illuminated plane were met.
Updated the chemical method as provided by MicroChem through which the
sample of SU-8 would be applied to a silicon wafer such that it would be
compliant with a source with a wavelength of 400 nm
Successfully constructed a system with a feedback and control device (Arduino
Uno) that compensated for any abnormalities presented by the budgeted light
source in terms of energy output.
Constructed system cost is a mere fraction of current commercial devices: $1300
vs $250,000$1,000,000

Analyzed the inefficiency of the current bus wash water systems and developed an
alternative system that would significantly increase efficiency.
Created a proof of concept design that enabled real-time communication between
the bus, microcontroller, and online database via the adaptation of current RFID
tags and the implementation of RFID Scanners.
Early estimates showed that the system would reduce water usage by roughly
50%, thereby yielding annual savings of at least $750,000.
Development of a Market Sector Recommender
Sept

Developed an adapted version of the Netflix recommendation algorithm such that
it could be applied to the stock market.
Produced a MATLAB program that when given an initial set of data, could predict
and recommend which sector would best fit the users desires.
