YourStory was started in October 2008 by Shradha Sharma. They did research for 1
year period and started website. Shradha lives her life in stories. And believes, every
story is unique and every story matters. Armed with degrees from St. Stephens
College, Delhi and MICA, Ahmedabad, prior to founding YourStory Shradha worked
with Times of India and CNBC TV18. In 2015, she was selected in the list of 500
LinkedIn Influencers across the world. Also in 2015 (March) Sharma received the
LOreal Paris Femina Award for Online Influence. Since its inception, YourStory has
profiled stories of over 15,000 entrepreneurs, and has provided business networking
opportunities to over 50,000 entrepreneurs via our conferences and meetups.
YourStorys website reaches out to 5 million niche readers from India and across the
world. Our community of followers on social networks and newsletter subscribers is
the largest in India in this segment. We are agnostic to sector and scale, covering
entrepreneurs, startups and business ideas from web, mobile, cloud, e-commerce,
enterprises to social, green and creative domains among others.
2. Difficulties and Solution
Since it is a website publishing stories of start-up, they did not have any legal problems. They
sometime face problems to find or reach to a place for knowing about start-up or people but
their team is very enthusiastic so they reach to any place.

They work closely with our partners to foster collaboration across all the players that can
impact the ecosystem. We are thankful to our partners for believing in us and helping us
achieve our dream faster through their constant support and encouragement.
Marketing Aspects:
YourStory works closely with a network of partners ranging across Corporate, Venture Capital
