FOLDING KNIFE FEATURES

SOG Assisted Technology (SAT) used in all SOG assisted folders
provides one of the fastest blade opening mechanisms available.
As you start to push the blade open, an internal spring takes over
to propel the blade open.
Arc-Lock equipped premium folding knives have smooth
one-handed operation and a locked blade that has been tested
to withstand more than 1,000 pounds of force. This patented
mechanism also allows ambidextrous operation whether opening

SOG Sharp blades in all knives are guaranteed to have a longlasting and sharp edge. The blade is the heart of any knife which

Cryogenic Heat Treatment on select blades increases edge

retention and steel hardness. This process slowly decreases the
steels temperature to -300 Fahrenheit and then raises it back
to room temperature. When the steel is put through this process,
it relieves blade stresses at an atomic level resulting in increased
toughness and wear-resistance.

Engraving

Sharpening

Many SOG products, not all, can be personalized with laser engraving.
You have the option to have your name or personal phrase permanently
added to the your SOG. More advanced designs such as company logos
will require a onetime artwork setup fee of $50.00 in addition to a per
engraving charge. Engravings that have large solid filled areas may
require additional charges.

SOG knives are designed and made to be used. Any knife being used
regularly will need occasional sharpening. Unfortunately, we have
not figured out how to make a knife that doesnt dull. Therefore, SOG
offers complimentary sharpening and service on all of our knives
and tools. We will even cover the return shipping to get your newly
refurbished and sharpened knife back to you.

Lifetime Warranty
All SOG products including knives, tools, gear, and packs are
guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for the life
of the item. Our products are designed to last when used as intended
and properly taken care of. In the rare, unforeseen instance when
something goes south, we want to make sure that you are taken care
of. Any item that happens to be defective will be repaired or replaced
at our discretion. All you need to do is get it back to us and well take
care of the rest.
We do have lifetime warranties, but keep in mind that this warranty
does not cover an item that is damaged by misuse, abuse, improper
maintenance, alterations, accident, or normal wear and tear as
determined at our discretion. So dont go using you knife as a
screwdriver, your multi-tool to split rocks, or your pack to contain a
wild hyena. Use common sense and dont do stupid things.

Knives, multi-tools, gear, and other sharp pointy items should be

maintained properly with routine cleaning, oiling, and sharpening.
Blades are cutting utensils and are not for prying or other applications
outside of its intended use. For more information on keeping your knife
or tool in tip-top condition check out our Knife & Tool Care page on our
website, sogknives.com.
Packs should be cleaned routinely to remove dirt and foreign materials
and substances that may increase wear on the material. You dont
want your friends or enemies smelling you before they see you.
