Acceptability of PMCs
1. Indian Entrepreneurs still operating under protected economy &
not yet ready for cost competitiveness, quality etc.
2. Not suitable for small & medium projects
3. Sense of insecurity among some corporates as PMC may expose
their Mgt. style, work culture, in house technological processes &
Fin. Mgt. systems to their competitors.
4. Appointment of PMC may highlight the weakness/deficiencies of
Clients Management team which may hurt ego of Team leaders
who try to oppose the appointment of PMC.
