rthodontics is one of
many dental specialties.
Orthodontics is specifically concerned with diagnosing and
treating tooth misalignment and
irregularity in the jaw area. There
are many advantages to well-aligned
teeth, including easier cleaning, better oral hygiene, clearer speech and
a more pleasant smile. Though
orthodontic treatment can be effective at any age, the American Dental
Association suggests that an orthodontic assessment should be performed around the age of seven. The
earlier orthodontic treatment
begins, the more quickly the problem can be successfully resolved.
Recent years have brought about
many changes within the dental
industry, specifically with regards to
orthodontic treatment and care.
Now more than ever patients are
experiencing fewer incidences of
cavities and missing teeth due to the
heightened awareness of fluoride use
and preventative dentistry. This
increasing awareness on the health
ins. Camp Lee Mar holds many special events each summer: the 4th of
July celebration, Western Night,
Hawaiian Night, Carnival Day and
Olympics, just to name a few.
The senior division campers talk
all year about social dance, which we
have every weekend, followed by the
Senior Fling (prom), which takes
place in early August.
Last summer, we launched the Lee
Mar L.I.F.E. Program (Living
Independently Functional Education).
It was a huge success, and we expect
a waiting list in 2016.
The hallmark of Lee Mars program is an incredible, nurturing staff,
all dedicated to working with children with special needs. Camp Lee
Mar is truly a special camp for special kids. Camp Lee Mar can be

self-esteem.
Camp Matollionequay is a traditional overnight camp for girls.
Campers get to explore personal
limits, build self-esteem and discover
independence in a safe, supportive
and nurturing environment. At Lake
Stockwell Day Camp, campers grow,
develop and make friends while
exploring new and exciting activities.
Leadership opportunities and offpremises travel adventures are also
available for teen campers. Theres
something for everyone!
Our camps provide a safe place
for youth to disconnect from electronics and connect with people and
nature and, in the process, strengthen their characters. As a YMCA, we
embody caring, honesty, respect and
responsibility in every aspect of
camp. Our experienced counselors
and quality programs promote
friendships, positive self-esteem and
healthy development and encourage
individuality and independence. Our
variety of camp experiences will
impact your child for a lifetime.
