Managing and organising the following major sewerage projects in study, design, tender documents
and implementation stages:

Urgent Improvement Works for existing sewerage facilities in urban areas of Mauritius
(Project value US$ 12 M).

New sewerage facilities for tourist resort at Grand Baie (PV = US$ 20M).

Sewerage facilities at Baie du Tombeau area comprising pumping stations, sewer


networks, Treatment Plant and marine outfall (PV = US$ 10 M).

Extension of Treatment Plant at St. Maartin to Tertiary level including irrigation systems (PV
= US$ 27 M).
Supervising the Pollution Control Unit where effective monitoring is required to control the
discharge of waste water to sewers, rivers and water courses in order to secure compliance with
required effluent standards.

Responsible to assess the municipal infrastructures as far s the wet utilities were concerned and the
current water use practices for the City of Riyadh. The work covered the following aspects:

Leakage tests and assessment form drinking water networks.

Infiltration from foul water sewers and storm water sewers into sub-soil strata.

Aspects of domestic water conservation and preventive programmes for solving the rising
groundwater in the city.
Task Leader for water quality programme and co-ordinator for water resources management for
Wadi-Hanifah catchment area.
- Reviewer (to date) for the research study projects of wet utilities in Saudi Arabia sponsored by
King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology in Riyadh.
