Abstract

After China initiates Chinese Go-Out Strategythe Chinese enterprises

foreign direct investment increasingly grows. Chinese enterprises making an
investment in abroad is increasing. Thailand not only has a good relationship with
China for a long time but also cooperates with China on economics and trades
thoroughly. Chinese enterprises have an inclination to come investing in Thailand
further. Thus, the thesis studies The Chinese enterprises direct investment in Thailand.
The thesis begins with foreign direct investment theory, and then analyzes the
information of Chinese company invested in Thailand in investment state and
problems and lastly, gives some suggestions.
Thailand has a good business environment for the investment. Such as the
advantage of the geography and plentiful nature that are proper for the investment in
Thailand, a large domestic market in the country, a market potential that could extend
the trade to the neighbor countries, well public utility, policy and investors privileges,
national politics and diplomacy, include the way of life and culture resemble to
Thailand. These lights lead to a good impact for Chinese companies that invested in
Thailand. From those advantages Chinese companies come to invest in Thailand for 2
reasons: the resources and the market. Anyway, the investor who want to invest in
Thailand have to concern about the Thai politics, e.g. south Thailand insurgency, the
capital and laborers demand and supply, the high capital of logistics and corruption
problem
The investment state of Chinese companies in Thailand marks that the projects
and saving deposit for the investment () of Chinese companies is not
a lot of money when compare with the other countries. Several years ago, Chinese
companies invested in Thailand incline to increase. In 2010 China was a top five of
the country invested in Thailand although it was a tiny project and the capital is not
higher than fifty million baht.
The problem of Chinese companies invested in Thailand is such as most of
them are Chinese small-sized companies and lack of the knowledge of investment in
Thailand, companies service problem and management, including their brand name is
not well-known. They all are the problems that Chinese companies should be resolved

so that their investment in Thailand could get the most effectiveness. (

Lastly, the thesis would give some suggestions for Chinese companies and
Thailand in order to make a progress in the cooperation and the developing in the
future.
