Urbane Console India Limited is is one of the most sought-after Multidiscipline Engineering Consultant
With a unique combination of expertise drawn from wealth of experience, having a consistent track record
of performance in architecture, interior design, landscaping & urban design. We have now entered into
Surveying and Investigation Projects for which URBANE Group is proud of the excellent partnerships
with Delhi based leading Surveying and Investigation firm, HIGHWAY ENGINEERING MAGNITUDE
CONSORTIUM. The Groups philosophy is to build open and transparent relationships which are managed
in the spirit of Equality. UCIL is planning forays into new business areas while strengthening existing
business activities and investing in infrastructure. UCIL has the ability to bid, execute and implement
medium and large size projects across various infrastructure segments.

History
Company founded in 2000. Formerly known as Saakaar Architects & then as Acme Consultants &
Engineers, the Company is represented by its joint directors, the trio Ar. Malay Banerjee, Er. Bikram
Kishore Mallick & Ar. Kalpana Rath. The Directors are registered architects with the Council of
Architecture, New Delhi and associates of the Indian Institute of Architects and members of its Odisha
Chapter. Their forte is attention to details and customization. Honesty to design, client satisfaction and
sustainability are the driving forces, along with the ability to constantly explore & evolve. They are
dedicated to unique design approaches adapted to each project, and achieving a balance between
functionality & aesthetics, context, climate, material, cost & time-frame.
Malay Banerjee was associated as a lecturer at CET, Department of Architecture for long and now has
been fully dedicated to professional practices.

Today
The Company works at multiple scales and with various organizations right from private clients to
corporate & NGOs. This allows them to experiment and diversify work: such as luxury villas/ bungalows,
high end residences and unique offices, as well as hospitality and institutional projects in the city of
Bhubaneswar and other major towns of Odisha.
UCILs design approach is to re-connect architecture with nature, make optimum use of space, natural
materials, lighting & landscape to reinvent and transform living environments and urban spaces.
