Safety
Safety is behaviour and managing behaviour of anyone in the
organisation. Support systems are meant to further develop
safety awareness and establishing a no blame culture, where
reporting of near misses is continuously stimulated.

Professional approach
Our offshore experience over more than a decade enables us
to run various shutdowns, maintenance services and projects at
the same time for various customers, including the provision of
the highly skilled manpower and makes us leading in the Dutch
offshore industry. From this position and the Stork worldwide
network we intend to develop our offshore business further and
make our professional approach and organisation available for
other operators at any location.

Project approach
Storks on- and offshore experience in large and medium sized
projects in the oil and gas industry has resulted in some principles, which have proven their success. Depending on the complexity of projects we will suggest some of the principles in order
to ensure a professional execution in safety, time, quality and cost.
Early involvement during the first step of engineering and
the conceptual project phase can lead to new ideas and or
creative cost reducing solutions.
Project execution control. With our own project execution
system an integrated control of all activities is ensured.
Planning based on perfect delivery. Perfect delivery can be
realised by integrated planning and gate keeping function.
Campaign and clustering. Developing a campaign structure
for maintenance support and change proposal/modification
projects will ensure effective maintenance execution and low
back logs and sustain the integrity of the installation.
Effective execution and overall cost savings can be realised by
use of the project principles.

To ensure our quality and high customer satisfaction we focus on
the development and professionalism of our employees, specifically
in the offshore field by means of self developed technical and
management training programs. Stork Industry Services participates in many on- and offshore oil and gas production projects
for the execution of Integrated Services Contracts, which includes
services that extend our core business.

Competence assurance
Well skilled and experienced people are reasonably scarce in
the Netherlands, but for Stork they are of major importance to
sustain and develop its professional position. We improve the
competences of our work force with a company specific competence assurance process, which comprises the following issues:

instance foreman and supervisors are tested.
