Introduction

With the raging growth of violence in todays society, security and safety became
everybodys primary concern. It is in everyones right to live in a secure and safe place while
doing their daily tasks and responsibilities. With the continuous growth of technology, many well
developed electronic devices today are available in the market which help in safeguarding the
security and safety of everyone. The problem left to many of the home and business owners is
the proper procurement of these equipment.
The need for an electronic design is essential to gain knowledge and get a better picture
of the right deployment of these equipment. Electronic designers follow a process consist of
series of steps to come up with a solution to a problem. Many times, the solution involves
designing a product that meets certain criteria and/or accomplishes a certain task.
The primary purpose of an electronic design is to produce a working, reliable and low
cost solution to meet various customer requirement.

Objective
To design a secure, safe, cost effective, functional and productive space for a two-storey
commercial/residential building.

To study the proper deployment of these set of equipment so as to know the right

quantity of equipment to procure.

To procure the right set of equipment that best fits the need with respect to the design
and to the dimensions of the building.

Conclusion
During the course of doing the project, we learned that designing plays an important role
in putting up a successful project. The project design must not only revolve around the project
objective but must also deliver the requests and concerns of the owner. A thorough study and a
careful consideration of the smallest details must be applied in order to come up with a cost
effective and at the same time an aesthetic design.
A project design is more than just putting things together, it also involves proper
selection of equipment in terms of its quality and quantity. A cost effective design doesnt have to
be the most economical, it has to be up to a certain set of standards and it has to be well around
the limit of the given budget.
Moreover, a successful project design must create a comfortable space for the home
and business owners where they can work productively without worrying much of their safety
and security.
