Planned and managed the implementation of a global VoIP telephony system. Managed the
implementation of a new WAN infrastructure utilizing MPLS cloud as well as standardized networks,

Boosted engineering productivity and improved time-to-market with the creation of high-end server
farms for engineering. This reduced engineering processing run times by 50-70%. Managed the
standardization and upgrade of corporate infrastructure systems including DNS, LDAP, email, network,
backup, firewalls, server rooms, and temperature sensors.

Managed the migration of our email systems from SendMail to Microsoft Exchange. This project
included capacity planning, hardware procurement, account setups, data migrations, user training, and
rollback planning for risk mitigation.

INCYTE CORPORATION, Network and Telecom Manager

1996-2003

Managed global IT services for network, telecom, and audio/video. Managed multiple rollouts for new offices
that included new networks (wired and wireless), telephone systems and video conferencing systems.

Reduced monthly costs by over $100K in laboratory expenses while eliminating loss of genetic samples
due to data loss by pioneering one of the industrys first redundant Gigabit mesh backbone networks.
