The Village at Magnolia Square Builders Take Awards in 2010 Parade of Homes

The Capital Region Builders Association hosted their 2010 Parade of Homes consis
ting of 53 homes in Livingston, Ascension, and East Baton Rouge Parishes. Two Se
lect Builders of elegant, stately homes in the city of Centralâ s flagship developm
ent, The Village at Magnolia Square, won top awards.
City of Central, Louisiana, July 01, 2010 -- The Capital Region Builders Associa
tion hosted their 2010 Parade of Homes consisting of 53 homes in Livingston, Asc
ension, and East Baton Rouge Parishes. Two Select Builders in the city of Centra
lâ s flagship development, The Village at Magnolia Square, won top awards. The Vill
age at Magnolia Square is a traditional neighborhood development that offers res
idential, retail, office space, and other community amenities all within an easy
walk of its homes making it a convenient lifestyle for its residents.
The highest honor in the Parade of Homes, Best of the Best Home award, was given
to Rabalais Homes, LLC. Steve Rabalais of Rabalais Homes , believes that the co
mfortable outdoor living room is ideal for entertaining which sets his home apar
t. This outdoor living room has a vaulted ceiling patio with fireplace, full out
door kitchen and remote-controlled bug screen. Rabalais Homes, LLC also received
the Best Kitchen Design award for the homes located in the Central, Zachary and

iron and brick work; as well as the many amenities as the award-winning features

The Best Floor Plan award for Livingston Parish, Baker, and Central was secured
by Fetzer Properties, LLC. This home features an efficient open floor plan as we
ll as upscale interior features; a brick archway separating the kitchen and dini
ng areas, cypress cabinets and granite counter tops. Bo Fetzer believes that the
model homeâ s furnishings secured the award by properly modeling the layout of thi
s home.
The Village at Magnolia Square will consist of 480 homes, almost 60,000 square f
eet of retail space, and community amenities; this mixture creates the city of C
