Good News Club (GNC) is a ministry of Bacolod City Alliance Church composed of the churchs young
people with a willing heart to be sent on the mission field who strive to bring glory to God by being His
servants in faith, service and communion through reaching out a lost world and proclaim the good news to
its people. The GNC exist to glorify God, to proclaim the gospel of Christ, to grow through discipleship, to
serve and be a blessing to the community. And to achieve the purpose of the ministry, the GNC provides
ongoing activities, such as, Brgy. Outreaches, Discipleship, Soul winning, Kids Church/ Sunday School,
Member Care and Bible Studies. In Five years, the GNC aims to sustain the ministry by Gods grace and
grow in quantity and quality, and will continue catering people to God through various programs and
advocacies in making Christ known which at the same time, will make the members hone their capabilities
and grow spiritually. And today, GNC have 19 young people who is led by Ptr. Shem Jude Vicera, its
Adviser.
Basketball Club is formed because of the love of the game of basketball. Every Saturday afternoon,
theres a handful of Elisha boys who were very passionate to play basketball here in the church basketball
court. From there, with the help of Coach Lyndon Locsin, the club was in full swing.
Before, the purpose of this club is to only support these young people in their love for the sport but
eventually it evolved into a discipleship group, to a group with a purpose.
Basketball Club aims to glorify God by being well-rounded and grounded. Its mission: God Driven, Team
Discipline and Heart in Action. Basketball club is not only here to play basketball but to promote the love
of Jesus through sports and by being a good example to others and to be of assistance when the need
arise.
BC has activities like Discipleship, Exposure Games, Skills Training and Conditioning and Values
Formation. As of today, BC is composed of 16 young men with their advisers Coach Lyndon and Maam
Jhanel Locsin.
