Paper I Review of Literature
(Common to all faculties)

Unit-I: - Review of literature for research work, meaning of literature review,

significance of review of literature, Published research work, Old literature from other
sources.

Unit-II: - Likert Scale, Meaning and utility of Likert Scale. Illustration of Likert scale.
Review Quality Instrument ( R.Q.I.) , dominant elements of Review Quality
Instrument.

Unit-III: - Research Process, Initialization of research process, Use of review of

published research work in deciding the research topic. Bibliography and References
Unit-IV: - Published research work, sources of published research work, Research
Journals, Peer review research journals, Conferences and seminars proceedings,
magazines, Newspapers, Lecture series.

Unit V:- Salient features of review of published research work, analysis of published
work, suitability of published work. Criterion for review of published research work,
practical procedures for reviewing.
